This game was the complete opposite of my previous recording attempt (a 2.5 hour game that might see the channel eventually). Join me for a hopefully educational video of how to excel when your opponents aren't aggressive enough. Thanks for watching!

Thank you sir. It's quite generous of you to take up a few hours of your time on my behalf. Hopefully more people will start playing this map in the near future. I think if people start playing it more and developing strategies for it they will see what a fun map it is.

C_money i would love to see that game of 2.5h, i'm having a lot of games were stalemate and i don't know exactly what to do to progress the game and not put myself at risk to lose. Because after a point it became almost impossible to gain profit of a kill, and the gap between troops become very much difficult to deal with, you would need 2 trades to catchup, and card block 1 player is already hard, and when you have 2 or 3 players in the stalemate will be harder.

Maybe I'll try to edit it into something palatable. My main problem with it was I just felt like I was complaining too much in the game, and didn't get the result I wanted.

Perhaps I should pitch in a game or two of this map. Definitely has possibilities, although I'm not so sure I'll be fond of how large the bonuses are on this on to take them. Anyhow, great noob stomp!

Also, with protracted battles, I really get where you're coming at with that. Sometimes you have a game that has a lot going on in the beginning, and an epic finish, but the middle is so slow that you can't really show it off effectively. I still have one that I have yet to figure out what to do with it for this very reason. I think it'd be nice to see it, although it might have to be done as an extra for the day instead of the typical upload.

in regards to longer videos. i enjoy longer videos. if there is a lot of "dead air/waiting" i can understand the hesitation to upload. it would require more work of editing and post commentary but a warning at the beginning saying the video will have some jump cuts or some time lapsed sections. (sped up with post commentary stating what's happening, or not) would be a appreciated. currently on vid 136/431.

Good to know. Admittedly I just think I was a bit too complainy throughout most of it where it wasn’t the quality I wanted, especially for a video of that length.

It's a solid map. I think high level players complaints are that it may be a bit too snowbally with how strong the bonuses are.

You think your 2 hour shenanigans game was bad. I had a 5 hour Progressive Europe advance 3 person stale mate where no matter who I card blocked the other person would break it. 2 other players were both master level it was infuriating

Hate when that happens! My 2.5 hour game I was just getting targeted the whole time and also my girlfriend was waiting on me for dinner so it was a very bad combination haha. Dinner was consumed though and we watched our show together so not all was lost.

This only works well if you have balls to make these plays like you do and all of your opponents are cowards 😂 I bet another GM wouldn't have given up so quickly and fought to the death

@@perrybb2 Oh certainly. A big part of the game is gauging my opponents skill. If there’s a few strong players in my lobby I definitely try to alter my approach. However, if I see them getting a slow start but know they’re good, snuffing them out early is frequently the right play. I had a game like that on Canada Advanced recently where I did that because I could tell my opponent was trying to make a comeback after losing his capital.
