I would go to the Whyel doll museum when I was a teen; I loved it so much! It was a great inspiration to me.

I met her at a doll show, never was able to view the museum in person but I have all three books, minus the doll sized book. The Heart of the Tree is truly amazing.

What a beautiful collection! May she rest in peace and fly high. I often think of the future as our world changes for the worse- that not many people will be around who will care about all the antique, amazing pieces of history such as dolls like this. She did a fine job keeping so many safe, and so do you! Like her daughter said, I've also felt that I never belonged in this era of time either. I love what was said about time travel. I get to do that with the things I have around me from the past too! :)

This was absolutely fabulous Rachel. I was so lucky to visit her museum twice. Our last visit was at convention and I told her a doll I had bought from her won a blue ribbon the year before. She had missed that convention as she was in Alaska. She did remember the doll. ❤

about 20 years ago I visited the Rosalie Doll Museum .... I was just amazed at all the dolls and of course I wanted all of them!... I was just so sadden when they closed the Museum, just could not believe it. Thank You Rachel for sharing Rosalie's Story.....and God Bless you Rosalie and thank you for sharing your dolls with me.

Rachel, Thank for sharing such a fun loving and special person as Rosalie Whyel and her beautiful Simon and Halbig Dolls she shared in this video!! And I so agree with her Daughter about history, which I so love, especially learning about history outside of my old grade school, but learning about history through books and dolls ( Dolls are the best!). I never knew that at Twist and Turn doll was actually invented before Barbie!! The Doll @ 13:23 is a very beautiful twist and turn doll too!! And I so LOVE that stunningly elegant and stunningly beautiful 1385 Simon and Halbig 👑Queen Alexandra Doll👑💜💜💜💜💜!! I so LOVE her jewelry and her detailed gown💜💜💜💜💜!!!And I also LOVE the Netherlands Doll and the 939 Matilde Maddie Baker's Doll dressed in a baby blue dress with a baby blue bonnet💙💙💙💙💙!!! However, it is amazing miracle that the German African American Dolls even survived Nazi Germany, let alone any of the Simon and Halbig Dolls surviving because they had a Star of David on the back of the Dolls. And another favorite Doll of mine in this video is the 1159 Bridal Doll💖💖💖💖💖!! Rachel, although I never met Rosalie Whyel, it is so wonderful that she had a museum💜💜💜💜💜 and wrote books on dolls too💜💜💜💜💜!!! Rachel, I am deeply sorry that Rosalie Whyel has passed🖤🌹🕯, but thank you for celebrating her life and love of Dolls with all of us in this video!! I am sure that Rosalie Whely is smiling with your Mom in Heaven about this beautiful video🕯🌹💛💛!!!

i really enjoyed this, i love hearing about amazing woman who lived their passions. those dolls were so interesting. the queen dolls face was so unique she looked a bit grumpy hahah
