Bold flavors require bold vision. In this new series, Chef Roy Choi invites creators and culinary innovators who are pushing boundaries in their respective industries into the Field Roast Kitchen for a bold tasting experience. A meeting of the minds and palettes, each episode sees Roy pairing our creator’s crafts, flavors and cuisines with Field Roasts’ delicious selections, delivering a once-in-a-lifetime plant-based meal. While Roy and our guest creator swap unique flavors and their own ground-breaking stories, we’ll learn about their deep connection to food, to community; to exploring new ways of looking at plant-based food and our world.
In our first episode of Make Taste Happen, chef Roy Choi and founder of Picklé, a community-focused pickle workshop in LA, Jess Wang, showcase the taste-altering possibilities of fermentation with a new plant-rich take on the traditional Chinese Zha Jiang Mian noodle dish featuring Field Roast.

I never sit through ads and I just sat through this entire ad so I had to look it up and comment. I really like their chemistry together. Give them a food show together or something!

The point that chef made at 5:04 was really profound but something happened here with the show's production that didn't make the point salient. I noticed chef didn't comment on the flavors so it was more about the point of the food itself rather than the taste being highlighted but the point fell on deaf ears.

@@MMARLZ well to be fair everything today is a ad in some way. Some are just suddle at about it but trust me everything is a ad. They are just using the product as a way to get their information out.

the change will happen once fast food places adopt pure plant based cooking methods. the problem is people have NO TIME to cook these extravagant, healthy meals. if fast food changes then you change the world my friend. cooking turns off a ton of people even if they have the time to cook...many don't have the time with busy work schedules.
