I tried telling my friends at school how this sport is the world's sport. NFL, MLB and all are super predictable. Futbol isn't predictable, great underdog stories are to be seen every season, the sport with players/fanbase that went threw more hardships than America, little teams confront the big boys by kicking their ass, and most of all, the sport that actually stops time. Your time stops, all of your problems are forgotten for just 2 hours (cuz halftime and OT) when you watch this sport. Small countries like Iceland aren't used to winning against the big dogs like England yet Iceland kicked them out of euros AND made the 2018 world cup for the first time in history. The fairy tale of Leicster City was something the world would never expect or even predict yet we saw it and enjoyed it. Some countries with political issues/war/poverty stop their problems to watch their nation give happiness by representing the world who THEY actually are. THAT IS FUTBOL

TheAnax 11 actually there are soccer players who take a shit ton of protein and Messi had to take some stuff so he could be taller due to a growth hormone. Then again American sports or at least icons tend to have a world moment. The world truly only recognizes Lebron, MJ, Kobe, tiger woods, (I guess) Mayweather, and curry (I’m only mentioning the American sport players).

@@michaelzhengg American just want focus on sports they big,even they not focus to another worldwide sports like rugby. Maybe if usa love football, that's a good thing because football is one of the option to unite people,also can decrease racism. Like my country,in the 70s and 80s when our football team was one of the best teams in asia, all races came to the stadium to watch our team. as well as the mixing of races playing in teams. so it makes us more familiar regardless of race. but can you explain me why usa women good at football?

I remember hating football when I was a kid since every other kid at school was playing it and I didn't like it so I kept being excluded from the big friend groups. In 2020 I became really good friends with two guys and they introduced me to a sport I used to despise. I now watch every single man united match and love the sport as much as I respect every player who made it possible for us to watch such satisfying football

This makes me sad. It makes me so mad at why my friends and the people in my country don't appreciate football. I live in America and this is absolutely triggering. "Soccer" is just too complex and hard for an average American. It's too boring. They don't appreciate the beauty of this game that has been around forever, which has brought people together. I have nothing against basketball or American football, but Americans absolutely need to see action every 2 minutes. Analysis of football is way deeper than any analysis of American football or basketball. Also, both of those sports have breaks way too often. Football goes 90 minutes. You lose focus for one minute your life's dream is shattered. It's a beautiful game. Nothing matters more than what's happening on the pitch. You'll never see the connection between the fans and players more in any other sport.
