Let me be the spoiler here - leaving is not an art, it's war. War within yourself to accept then to heal. It's the healing that time requires.

I wholeheartedly agree!!! Leaving does take time but healing is the key and it takes a lot longer

Leaving can be a war. But it can also be an art. It can be peaceful and calm. Sometimes there will be healing after, depending on the leave and what happened up till. But sometimes the leave is the one thing that makes the rest of a life easier than before.

@@christiansmith5968 it'll come to you when it's time. I had the same feeling in 2017. Suddenly all emotions just fell and I got steady and knew it was time. No more tears, doubt or anger. Just a 'whatever, I'm fine 🤷🏼‍♀️'. And then i left.

@@ForeverLumoz I agree with you as well! The art is to leave, peacefully, on your end! I think when you leave a relationship, of any kind, you go through the '7 stages of grief'. You'll know when to leave.... hopefully

I recently chose to let go of a close friend that i had. I cut off all ways of contact, deleted pictures and everything. It wasnt easy to do but the idea of him wasn't worth holding on to anymore. I definitely still miss him but its getting better and im slowly letting go of him little by little.
