Over the past few months, Shuhei "Max" Azuma put this part together in Western Japan. His creative approach to the unique Japanese street spots compliments his riding seamlessly. Max brings a lot to the table in this section and some of his stand-out pedal grind moves had me glued to my screen. Don’t let me keep you, Pedal ice your way over to the play button and enjoy.

That can can pedal feeble is something i was trying 15 years ago just without the crank flip.

@@ape5143 I started just pedal feeble, then I'd elevate my cranks vertical while grinding, then I threw in the can can , then I tried to hop right into the cancan went otb caught ledge with hand to protect face , compound dislocated left thumb. Worst bmx injury I've had.

lol I had certain friends growing up that used to tell me because I did something without pegs that it didn't count haha . I actually had a full page photo in faction BMX magazine and like one of my best friends at the time instead of like being stoked for me was like pissed that I was in the magazine and didn't have pegs LOL I was doing a pegless upright to fakie on this bank to pole had a white front mag. Photo was printed in 2004 by JPR Christ we're old. I swear I created that popular trick where you just do a feeble and purposely go to your pedals/crank arm, I was definitely doing that in like 2005 same with PE saying xup manual to fast plant 360 didn't count in 2002 🤦‍♂️ I had a few friends that appreciated it but mostly I was behind the camera. But idk it's cool seeing the progression of pedal grinds but Tom White ALREADY did it when we were seniors in high school

Always with Rooftop on the subject, pedal grinds or lame, most of the time the back of your heel is dragging on the ledge, It's like watching somebody do a feeble grind with the pedal down the whole time trying to balance, anybody that braggs about their pedal grinds look at the bottom of their shoe, it tells the truth
