I feel like a big part of Capullo's success is Danny Miki's inking. This was really apparent in Capullo's current Batman run. Comparing Court of Owls and even Death of the Family to Zero Year and Endgame, is almost night and day. It also helps that FCO got to shine and display those brilliant colors in Zero Year. The trio of Capullo, Miki and FCO is almost unrivaled in comic book art though.

I actually like the venom mouth on spawn it makes him look more menacing and intimidating Also it matches up due to the fact that spawn is a demon from hell, so he's gonna have a monster-like face. But overall in my opinion I think it looks badass!

I used to love Spawn as a kid. The HBO series was sick as hell too. I haven't read the comics in a very long time though. I can't believe it's still around.

KB Toys, man what a blast from the past. As a 34 year old I remember KB fondly and Batman/Spawn crossover was classic. Except for Batman calling Spawn "boy" I'm like, do you not know Spawn will kill you Batman. Show some respect.

I like the classic the best, then the all black but not a lot done to it. Spawn is one of my favorite hero's. The only one I really did not care for is when they gave him the big boot and things like that. Great episode man

When I was a teenager McFarland was it. He's, without a doubt, the main reason I still read comics today in my 40s. That being said: when Capullo first took over the penciling duties for Spawn, not only was it the end of the world in my teenage brain but he was at the end of my list on who I would've chosen to replace McFarland with. Today, Capullo is probably in the top 3 comic artist working today. I can't think of a single artist in the industry who's improved so dramatically. I might even go as far as to say (gasp) that he's now better then McFarland.

+Hektor fernandez Yeah a lot of similarities because he drew Venom and wrote I think Issue 250 or 300 for The Amazing Spider-Man. Also like @Everrette Bradfute is Spider-Man was what made Todd famous for his drawings of him. He is and amazing artist along with Greg Capullo,Sam Keith,Frank Miller are my favorite artist with many others but those are my favorite. I just hope they do another Spawn movie a legit one just like how the HBO Spawn followed the comics to a T! Also Keith Richards as the voice was amazing and a perfect fit for Spawn no wonder it won 2 Emmy's. I have heard talks about a future Spawn movie, (fingers crossed) so we will see I'am 32 and I bought Spawn issue #1 when it came out. So been a huge fan since day 1. It got me into comics so thank you Todd McFarlane and Image Comics still my favorite comic book character and company to this day. Also loving the new Image comic Renato Jones One%.
