🎧👍👍 Windy and Cherish are two giants that need to be on a person's playlist but this one is very good too. The bass is very smooth. Thank you, Pat.

I just checked my copy from 2015. I don't know what you did with the bass but it's barely there in comparison, otherwise pretty cool separation. I put yours through Audacity: 1db more bass, 1db less treble 1.5 degrees balance to the left to get the balance more equal and lifted the overall volume. Thanks for your work.

Wow! Fantastic remix! What software are you using? DeMIX PRO? SpectraLayers Pro? I can tell you spent a ton of time on this! It's perfect!

Thanks Bob. I use UVR5 these days to do the splitting. In this mix I moved the drums and bass to the centre, and enhanced the drums slightly. Most of work went into stereoising the vocals. I extracted the vocals from the live Monterey version (and what a great band they were live). I then synchronised them as best as I could (that was seriously hard work). And then the fun part was placing all those vocals in the stereo sound stage. I also used DCS techniques in places as well. I keep checking your channel from time to time, hope you haven't given up remixing for good !

@@radiowollaton8521 Astounding work you did on this! [I bought the mono LP back in 1966. I’m that old]. Indeed! Centering the drums and giving them a kick in the bottom-end made a HUGE difference! [Sounds like you used a limiter…] You separated and mixed the vocals perfectly! Your stereo image is superb! I use DeMIX PRO with SpectraLayers PRO-7 & iZotope RX-8. I haven’t yet heard of UVR5. I just crawled on to their website. I’ll download it and give it a spin. But I really don’t want to spend any more money on sound-separation software. I think I’ve hit $1800.00 total already. Keep up the great work!!!

@@bobzwol UVR5 is completely free and open source. There is no catch Bob. It's as good as the paid versions that I've trialed.

Do you isolate thindividual instruments when you make these?
@lotushomemedia2 ай бұрын
And it's all from the original recording?
@radiowollaton85212 ай бұрын
@@lotushomemedia The software splits the song into drums, bass, vocals and the remaining instruments. And I used some parts of a live version (Monterey Festival 1967) to create the stereo vocals.
