For a long time, I have been looking at photos of other people from a place called the Assy Plateau (the Assy-Turgen Observatory). And now the day came when a reboot of the soul and body was needed. I didn't plan this trip and one day before departure I just find a tour, take it and go. And you know what? I want to go there again!
And the point here is not at all in the Perseid starfall, but in the place itself - it is incredibly beautiful wide green fields and hills, with amazing views of snowy mountains, clean air and huge cumulus clouds touching the ground. Even before reaching the very Plateau of the Assa, fabulous views are already opening up and you can take a photo on the screensaver of the new Windows system. Coincidentally, there was also a bonus on the day of the trip - the Perseid starfall, which we watched for only an hour, then the full moon rose and covered the whole sky with its light. It's certainly not scary, because there was a beautiful sunset, sunrise, and amazing landscapes during the day. Well, in the evening, a couple of large cars flew by, cutting the sky with a bright trail into several parts. A very beautiful sight! If you haven't been here, I definitely recommend it! And when I create a new issue of "TOP 10 beautiful places near Almaty, Kazakhstan", then Assy Plateau will definitely take one of the first places.
In addition to all of the above, a special atmosphere is also created by the people with whom you went. I was lucky. Guys from DN Travel ( / dn.travel.kz / - here I took a tour) organized a chic tour with interesting people + an evening educational program with an astronomer and a professional telescope that magnifies 600 times! There were also various interesting games and the most delicious pilaf in my life (which I tried)! For this, of course, thanks to DN Travel! I hope to go on similar trips with you.
I managed to relax my body and soul! And I recorded various tips in the video so that you can also relax, or even better!
There was one nuance - one travel agency brought more than 80-100 people to the Perseid starfall, respectively, and there was no question of a starfall... They shouted, some of them drank alcohol and smoked, shone lanterns at the observatory when it was working (creating interference), some of the tourists threw garbage everywhere, etc. In general, as they say, not without freaks (of course there were few such people, but they spoil the whole impression). Well, the guides of that travel agency, respectively, do not cope with the whole crowd. So the important point is not to take a tour from large travel agencies (there will definitely be a lot of people there) or at least find out how many people are traveling with them. If more than 20-25 is no longer an option! I told you about other moments that will improve your rest in the video.
Enjoy watching! I recommend watching in maximum 4K resolution.
