Honestly, I really enjoyed the last series. It was a very well made show that was actually about CARS!!! And the presenters worked well together as well.

Just remember the first few series of top gear weren’t as good as the final few series so let these guys gel together you cant expect perfection straight away.

nhinya sakano So many have already said this, but I'm glad they're gone because now we have 2 car shows, top gear and the grand tour. I like GT better but the last season of Top Gear was okay. I think Chris Harris and Matt LeBlanc do a good job as presenters.

One thing we know for sure what Top Gear excels over the Grand To*ur is its visuals. Look at this video! Its so pretty -the composition, lighting, perfectly timed slomo, colour grading. Well done.

Disagree. The Grand Tour has a lot of the old Top Gear camara crew and there camara angles are as good and sometimes better than the new Top Gear. Not saying the New top gears camara aint good just sayinv they aint any better.

I felt the same, but there are some episodes where I think The Grand Tour Looks better. Especially the grading, Top gear is not afraid to go a more dark tone but the The grand tour (i assume because they want a broader audience) most of the time except on the ebola drone which i think is in UK ( BTW UK most of the times have those cloudy skies they have to push it towards blue and dark tones) they keep it warm with bright greens and bright reds. But as an aspiring filmmaker and editor, I like both and I'm always learning with each episode both shows release, they always keep a superb quailty.

This top gear is actually very good. The jokes are good, the script is good and is well executed. Mat does actually a great job at being british. I bet Jeremy was furious with those boats analogies, onde he is a boat guy. The truth is, despite grand tour is nice, top gear is still more professional and classy.

I have to say, after watching the newer series’, it’s not as bad as everyone made it out to be. Yes. While Clarkson, Hammond, and May presented this for over ten years, I think it was time for a change. They are awesome presenters, don’t get me wrong, but I think they needed something new. Although I do miss them.

I can appreciate what the new Top Gear is doing. In many ways I think they are doing a great job. My issue is with the writing. If you think about what the hosts are actually saying in these reviews, there is not much there. If you want evidence of this just watch Chris Harris's solo stuff, then compare it to the Top Gear stuff. The man is a straight up master reduced to really basic commentary. Like Jeremy always said, the writing is the most important part of top gear

Oh, don’t they just. Thirty-eight people have given this video the thumbs down. Is it the car they don’t like, or the presentation, or are they still hung up on their terrible, grievous loss? I loved old Top Gear. But I love more that the BBC did what was right at the time.

cant really compare lexus to a AM. I dont know why he bothers comparing it to Nissan ether. Lexus and Nissan are nice cars, but they are came from regular manufacturers with upgraded/luxury upgrades. Aston Martin had been icon of british car manufacturing for years from its roots. He should have compared it to Porche Taycan.

Matt is very Jeremy, it's not the same. But he has a very listenable cadence, and knows his shit. The power trio is obviously better, but Matt is still pretty good Edit: of course Matt likes GTR Hondas

I love that car, now with that beautiful car, the best thing is about the power, most importantly is the sound of the exhaust, soo if you have the money, well this car is about the good value for spending , you get luxury as well the sports performance, well done Aston Martin, well you have 10 out of 10 results.

This is actually quite refreshing. Professional car reviewing like the top gear was back in the days. Now as "grand tour" it's quite Americanised and repetitive. Not saying it's bad but I do miss the old days with more "Britishness". Anyhow GG BBC you finally figured out a good top gear without the three guys.

Sometimes it hurts me when people compare beautiful works of art like the DB11, the Ferrari 488, the McLaren 720s, Maserati gran cabrio, the Lamborghini Huracan and other luxury sports/super cars to a Nissan GTR. To me when it comes to class and refinement these cars FAR out class the Nissan GTR. The GTR is a fun car no doubt but its just not in the same class of elegance and refinement that the above mentioned cars are in. A Nissan GTR just cant and will never compare.
