How do you bring the potted plants in? Bugs? I have some beautiful gardenia and Shasta daisy plants I wanted to keep, but they’re going to die in the freezing temperatures. We are awaiting a home build so I have a very small space but would love to save them. Help!

I grew up on a farm. It is very hard work not easy at all. Getting up on cold mornings, if you have animals you have to spend so much time caring for them. It’s manageable when you are young but when yoga gets it is hard on the odyssey

I love your videos. Whenever i see a new one come out, i make a hot cuppa and go sit down. The problem is.....i don't ever want them to end. So I pause 20 times and do other things just so they will last longer. Thank you for taking me on a journey.

take your tomato plants by the root out, and with the green tomatoes still on them, turned upside down hang them in closed area so the frost and snow don't get to them. usually hung by a nail or on upside down tomato rack, you still will get plump red tomatoes till January..then dig into your canned goods! Stretch your goodness even more!

@@r.m.4653 You don’t. The existing green tomatoes will simply ripen over time. You aren’t trying to grow new tomatoes...just making it possible to use the existing ones. 😉

I'm just now watching this video from about 2 years ago and somehow I almost feel moved to tears. The videography, the music, the memories you're making as a couple and as a family. The bond you're creating with each other and the earth and the highlighting the gifts God has given us all. The changing of this season always brings a feeling of sadness to it, but also reminds us that we cannot stop time. We must submit to the quickness of the pace. The way you guys portray that as a gift is very encouraging and very compelling. Thank you.

Where do I begin? The first 4 minutes I just filled my phone with screen shots of the Kitchen. I love getting to see how Shayes’ kitchen is set up. So beautiful & cozy. And then the last 3 minutes of cooking🥕🧅🧄🥬🍅🍐🍲 I absolutely loved this video.

I just discovered your channel and I've now binge watched far too many while catching up on some seasonal chores of my own. Your videos are beautiful! The images, filming, narration, and the poetic language you weave together to describe it all is so lovely. It's all very professional but also personal. I am watching this after midnight and I could just eat that beautiful , savory soup right now. There truly is nothing like homemade soup from your own garden. Just beautiful and so inspiring... We've set aside a bit of garden to grow next Spring and I've swapped seeds with neighbours and friends and we're so ready. We're armed with a monthly calendar that's been 20 years in the making by our now elderly neighbours who have wonderful vegetable gardens. We hope to be able to try our hand at favourites they've had success with and a couple of unknowns too...we can't wait!
