IDK if you're still talking about Genasi races or not, but...what about Infernal Genasi's, but they're from a plane of hell inspired by the Seven Deadly Sins? (I.E: Wrath, Gluttony, Greed, Envy, Sloth, Lust, & Pride)

The material plane is sort of in the middle of all the other planes, Genasi of the material plane would be like an “Avatar” of all the other elements and/or planes. This one is a bit clunky since there are no genies from the material plane, and the material plane is so diverse because it’s an amalgamation of all the rest of the planes, the midpoint where everything mixes. A melting pot of everything divine, infernal, arcane, orderly, chaotic…

@@benjamingal3823 Depends on which cosmology I guess? In terms of the great wheel, no. If you’re going with the tree, then I’m not sure?

@@theawkwardpotato1973 I was just mixing up a few things, the Outlands is just the middle of the outher planes, not every plane. All 3 cosmology puts the material at the middle.

I would argue that....ALL genasi represent the Material Plane! But from the other side (since Genasi are genie/human hybrids) after all: humans are pretty good at making our wishes come true!

Why are you so wish obsessed? Treat genies more like elementals of concrete type not wish granting machines!

Weird, and here I thought when people thought "genies", they think of wishes, not elemental magic 🤷‍♂️

@@TheClericCorner When I think of genies, I think about dangerous desert spirits, more fey, then elementals, but D&D is strange in that case, so... We have powerful elementals... By the way, I treat genasi as just half-elemental, half-humanoid, not necessarily as half-genie
