The Average Guy Family Discovers Monument Valley

Our family stumbles into Monument Valley on the Navajo Nation. We were driving between Moab and the Grand Canyon and could not resist stopping to check out this amazing wonder of nature. The planet we live on is full of such spectacularly beautiful places.

I very much liked how you described the transition from narrow canyons to the wide expanse of Monument Valley as I could picture it happening as you drove along. Your beautiful photos brought back the feel of the heat coming off the rocks and carried along by the wind, along with the smell of the desert plants. Thank you 1

Yes! Thank you for sharing this with us. Next time I go, I am going to plan better and have time to hire a guide to see this amazing creation with the knowledge of someone who knows it well. It is a special place. ~Jason

@@averageguyphotography Yes sir. It is a remarkable place full of rich history. We Diné, always welcome vistors to experience the majestic and spiritual landscape. Another place I would highly recommend is Canyon de Chelly.
