The Avett Brothers from North Carolina are a four-piece-band, but for an intimate acoustic performance the brothers Scott and Seth Avett played two songs for us. The band formed in 2000 and sells out shows all over the world since their very successful 2009 album "I and Love and You". This song is called "Salvation Song".

OMG. I just discovered this. I'm 68 years-old. Love the words, love these two guys. I was falling out of love with music and this brought me back...just like in the song.

They brought their dad out on stage and did this song last year when i saw them in Indianapolis. It was so good it made me tear up. Thank God there is music like this.

Past generation? These guys are timeless classics built for all time. Perfect blend of new and old with a work ethic thats made to last. True Americana found nowhere else. Deep and moving from dark to light and back again.

We came for salvation we came here for family, I guess that's why I came to this song! I am 55 my granny would be 113 now bless her soul and her parents came here to make their home in the great USA.
