I first heard this from the old British Airways advertisement. The more I hear it, the more I picture a Lord of the Rings-type film montage. Soaring plains to jagged snow-capped mountain peaks. An absolutely buttery gorgeous piece of music!!!

The emotions that this song evokes and the journey it takes one on is simply amazing. How beautiful musical notes and instruments are that convey so much without a word spoken. Lovely piece, I am awestruck.

its cringe that only NOW have i discovered HJL -after BILLIONS have already. My attraction to this music is as instant as when i saw THE PIANO in the 1990s and honestly never since. i do get one point for feeling when i heard on a classical radio station in the car --that the melody and compelling arrangement FELT FILMIC to me--so alright --fantastic vibed that the was no ordinary composition. PHEW! BUT lets also be amazed at the scope of her work and also --not enough to be THIS artistic but apparently a TRI ATHLETE. So grateful to have "discovered" tho clearly from movies and commercials i have heard pieces. but it was just a minute on the radio i took out a pen and wrote down the name of the piece "chance" and composer to look up later. i have not felt the need to do that in many years. This is genius talent i have heard a LOT of classical having grown up doing ballet. i LOVE these pieces!
