Sweet Honesty by Avon is another beautiful scent from what I remember wearing it as teen.

Haven't worn an Avon fragrance in years. However, I remember liking an Avon scent called Pur Blanca in the early 2000s, it was a soft, slightly powdery clean musk with light florals. Perfect to wear to work.

While Avon has some cheap and synthetic smelling fragrances, there are definitely some gems. I sold Avon years ago at at time when they were booming with celebrity and designer collaborations. Fergie, Reese Witherspoon, and even Bon Jovi all had fragrances. Herve Leger, and Emanuel Ungaro joined the fragrance train. To this day, nearly a decade later, I still enjoy a good Avon fragrance, and will continue adding to my collection. I recommend trying the original Far Away. It's a timeless classic. You might be pleasantly surprised.

Odyssey was my mom's perfume back in the day. I love it.....but I think because it reminds me of her. 😉

I very highly recommend Avon's Rare Pearls. I actually had a colleague run after me to ask what fragrance I was wearing.... That's how good it smells.

As a ten year old in the early 1960s I was given Pretty Peach and Daisies don't Tell(I think it was called)one Christmas and I loved them both. My mother's favourite was Brocade. I used Avon in the 1980s and 1990s used Far Away. I bought Far Away and Far Away Rebel recently and really enjoy wearing them x

I got Avon Far Way as a gift from a secret Santa many many moons ago(20 years ago) and fell in love with it. It's still one of my favorites and a must have in my/any collection

I've been an avon rep for over ten years. I sell more Today than anything else. It's a beautiful floral, smells a lot like honeysuckle. I did an unboxing in my last video and I plan to do my favorite Avon perfumes soon. In ten years of being a rep I tried pretty much all of them. There is one that is my all time favorite. 😊

Thank you for the reviews, I am just now looking at AVON frags. I remember hearing about AVON when I was a kid but it was only in passing. Exciting to try a new thing. Looking at the AVON website and perfume descriptions they do say that some are cologne, some are Eau de Parfum, and Eau de Toilette. Generally there is a performance difference between the names and concentrations. an Eau de Toilette is not meant to last all day for example. So in this way it is not a poor performer but rather designed to only last for a few hours. On the other end of the spectrum are oils, like oud oils, and they may last a few days on skin. It just depends on what is in the mix and what your skin does, etc. Anyways just wanted to mention that, thank you for the helpful reviews!

I think their best line is the Rare collection- Rare Gold and Rare Pearls are the bests from the line with Rare pearls my favorite - both of them are long lasting and Rare pearls is very potent. I stopped getting other perfumes from the collection when Rare diamonds came out - it was a disappointment I believe they had 2 or 3 more after that. I do have the Haiku and one of its flanker. the trio forever, always (forgot the other name) are good as well still have them in my collection but not using them a lot other than the rare pearls. I do have some more favorites but they are all discontinued so i am not using mine :-) lol- glad to see someone making videos on Avon perfumes.

I agree about the Far Away Gold fragrance. When I first sprayed it it smelled kind of medicinal. I think bug spray is a good description. However, the dry down wasn’t bad at all. I’ll keep it a little longer to see if it grows on me.

I am so glad to see this! No one ever reviews Avon frags. An Avon gem to try is Velvet. It smells much more expensive than the Avon price.I also love Haiku. I always wear the Haiku perfume layered with the Haiku body cream.It makes a huge difference in the performance.

I'm gonna try cloud nine and honey blossom. Avon femme smells like Gucci flora to me the green bottle. Then the dry down smells like creamy slightly sweet floral on me which is my favorite part. I get a lot of what are you wearing questions every time I use it. I smell like a beautiful young successful lady. Smells espenssivve. Body heat makes it smell better in my opinion.

My favorite was In bloom by Reese Witherspoon but it's discontinued. Very expensive smelling are perfumes from Attraction series. I recommending to you Far Away Rebel- so sweet it is🥰 And some very strange one for my taste but my new love- My Attitude, it's pepper, iris and coconut, and lasting long 😊 I may say that some of these parfumes are more beautiful than expensive ones. i love avon fragrances, some great scents for cheap. I loved the aromadisiac for men and far away range. They do a collection called rare and the rare pearls fragrance is a fantastic dupe for Diors pure poison. The imari collection is great as well especially imari fanatasy, a wonderful concoction of hazelnut, caramel, jasmine and vanilla. Gorgeous if you love gourmands!.

I loved Imari from Avon. If I recall it was an oriental spicy scent. I had the perfume and deodorant. Another I liked was Pearls and Lace (?). 💕

Wow my best friend from the 80’s always wore Candid. It was her signature smell. I had Haiku but I don’t remember if I even liked it. Lol A blast from the past for sure.

I'm so glad that you did this video! I really enjoy a lot of the Avon fragrances. I just recently bought Casbah off of eBay (I think it's discontinued) and it's a great oriental fragrance!! I also really like Bohista, which is a chocolate oriental and is discontinued.

I love Women of Earth! My mom used to wear it and I remember being a toddler, sniffing the bottle when she went to work. I wore it for a few years in my adulthood and I love the scent, a floral fruity, feminine & clean scent, I just wish it lasts longer. 😭

You need to try TTA Tomorrow by Avon. It is absolutely amazing. It reminds me of black opium. It is gourmand sweet and mature in my opinion. I like it a lot.

Thanks for the reviews. I've been a fan of several Avon perfumes over the years. They are somewhat hit or miss with their longevity on the skin. And some go off quickly in the bottle...Pure O2 is a beautiful spring/summer scent but I have to buy a new bottle each year because it goes off by the end of summer every year! My favorite, Soft Musk, has sadly been discontinued. It was my wedding scent and I wore it for years. It was back briefly a year or so again but is gone again.

You can get the matching deodorant to the fragrances at the 99 Cent stores for layering & added umph to reinforce the fragrance. I was hoping to buy, since it is their top #1 seller, but we'll see... Since you love black licorice scents, may I suggest Pink Sugar Eau de Toilette as well as the new Love from Bath & Body Works. So sweet & yummy!

Rare Gold is my eternal love, perfect example of solid perfumery of 90s, rich and beautyful. Avon this year relised anniversary bottle - and it was exactly that same perfume as 30 years ago:)

Avon has really decent products at reasonable prices. Sweet Honesty is a perfume from them that was a favourite of mine.

My first perfume was Avon’s Daisy don’t Tell. It was a Christmas gift from my Ciocie Marie( Ciocie is Aunt in Polish). I thought I was so grown up! The only other Avon that I had was Sweet Honesty in the late 1970’s😊

My first perfume was Incandessence and i absolutely loved it, wore it well into my 20's, prolly used some 10 bottles altogether. My bff was wearing Perceive and my mom love Far Away, I think it's time to pick up some Avon perfumes again.

Haiku is my favorite but yeah it doesn't last long, I have to layer it with the body cream.

Love, love, love vintage Avon perfume bottles they are so interesting and beautiful. For me however the perfume is horrible, even if it smells good in the bottle once it's on my skin it turns into something very wrong

My favorite perfumes from Avon of course are discontinued but they were one of the Fergie ones. I also loved Pink Suede and Celine Dion it was green juice with a pink top. The Og favorite of all is Rare Gold. It’s one that I will forever have in my collection along with Haiku ❤️

And I don’t even like cheap perfumes ( sorry but I am being honest) most because of performance …I don’t like celebrity perfumes also . My favorites perf are coco mademoiselle, miss Dior absolutely blooming, elie Saab girl of know, Narciso Rodrigues edt, idole , Chanel eau fraishe …. If have have the same “ taste” I believe you will like that one too

I remember getting some Avon's from the Small World collection when I was a kid. The bottles looked like little dolls :) My grandma had Hawaiian White Ginger and I still love that one because of nostalgia. Oh hey, what does bug spray smell like? Do you mean like off! or Raid? I am always confused when people use that term to describe fragrances because I don't know what kind of bug spray they are talking about or I am just stupid, I don't know :) I don't have too many Avon's but I do have Far Away and Far Away Exotic. I've not tried the Gold. I also have Perle Noir which has some good reviews though it's a little sour on my skin. I need to work with it a little more however. I do have a unicorn that I've been searching for for a long time - Sandalwood, sigh...... Another good video, thanks for doing one on a house that not many perfumista's are that familiar with.

I had a couple of Avon fragrances about ten years ago. I liked them, but I found they expired faster than my designer fragrances.

My favorite Avon perfumes are Rare Gold, Rare Pearls, Haiku, Haiku Kyoto flower. Ones I wish they would bring back: Pearls and Lace, Summerset, Moonwind. I think if they were to bring back Moonwind today, they should market it as a unisex fragrance due to the lavender note in it, from what I remember it smelling like.

Figi Paradise is my fav from avon I wish thai would bring it back.
