I saw the Babys when they opened for Styx in 78-79 (I think). It was the Styx "Grand Illusion" tour. And I still remember going out and buying the Babys album. I also got the Styx album. Both courtesy of the Columbia Record Club. I got most of my albums from that club. It was great getting 14 records for a penny. Of course, I never remembered to send in my cancel card so I got everything every month. lol

NOPE, not here he isn't. On the original recording. This sure as hell isn't Jonathon Cain in this 2009 video. He left the baby's for a little group called JOURNEY.
@jan31958 жыл бұрын
Keyboard player is Buck Johnson from Birmingham, AL. Very talented musician and overall great guy. He was in a band called Whiskey Falls with Damon Johnson (no relation) who is playing guitar on this video.

I don't think this is the Babys, I think it's John Waite with a backup group. his solo work never compared with the Babys material. though this is a good performance.
@dodger558810 жыл бұрын
It says right at the beginning of the video that it's John Waite. I would thnk if it was The Baby's that it would have stated that instead of just John Waite.
@MaryJoMuserOneLove10 жыл бұрын
this is the babys thats where John Waite made it on to the scene
@jan319510 жыл бұрын
Song is from the Babys but this is a different band. Buck Johnson (Whiskey Falls) on keyboard. Damon Johnson (Brother Cane, Alice Cooper, Whiskey Falls) on guitar. Both great guys from the Birmingham, AL music scene - now living in Nashville. Not sure of the drummer or bass.

They need to worry about their music ...not trying to look like 1980"s glamour boys. They are pitiful here
