I counted the tally mark showing how long Omega has been in Tantiss for and it’s 156 days meaning that it’s been 5 months.

5 rows by 5 columns, with each block as 5 days is 125 days, plus the 6th row at 14 days, would be 139 days when she got the doll back.

The cloning emphasis dates back to Legends (ugh, i hate calling those books that, but what can you do...) In fact, the story that gave us Thrawn is focused on it. The things explored in these first three episodes mean that someone watching over these shows is a fan of the old stories, and is working them back in - while finding a way to get to "Somehow, Palpatine returned" that might improve it retroactively...

Omega isn't a prisoner, but she's locked in, can't leave, access/movement is restricted, blood and genetic material is taken without consent, surprise inspections are carried out, and personal items are not allowed. Worst Airbnb ever!
