Jeff D Lowe started a company trivia league during covid. It started as a fun goofy zoom thing and grew into massive live events and board games and a website. It became a genuinely large brand. One of the best players in the league traded himself to another team that was already pretty solid. Shades of durant to the warriors. Now the rest of the league, spearheaded by CEO Dave Portnoy, is bitching that Jeff D Lowe allowed this trade to happen and ruined the league. Dave wants to start his own trivia league. Jeff D Lowe likes the attention of the controversey but realistically it would be pretty fucked up for the CEO to torpedo a highly recognized brand. But dave really isnt that stupid. He's just driving clicks during a slow news time.

Anyone else find it odd that everyone was clueless as to how Jerry wasn’t excited about his 300 bowl? It was clear and obvious why he was upset and he was texting someone after the incident (which I assumed was BC). Idk, part of me thinks they are acting like it’s going unnoticed but to me all they need to do is come out and say we’re aware of the issue that occurred last night and Jerry isn’t in any trouble for it because he was tricked.
