It seems like parenthood only breeds mental instability. If you are a good parent...ur signing urself up for constant worry and sleepless nights. If you are a bad parent...ur signing ur kids up for that.

Wish I could like this a million times! I have been struggling with this lately especially as I never planned to be a parent but accepted the challenge when it arose. 😅I dont know how people WILLING sign up for this. Call me immature, but this s*** be HARD!!!

This is such a true statement. I only have one child who's 25 and I worry ALL THE TIME. My dad who is 76 says to me " I worry about all my 3 children and I pray for all of you. I worry about you the most because you're a woman." 😭😭😭 (I'm 49 😂😂).

I was literally watching an episode of King of Queens on my laptop yesterday while I washed the dishes. My husband walked in the kitchen, saw what I was watching, and was like, "Really?" Lol! I said ABSOLUTELY! 😂

18:01 As Angel is talking about being concerned of her child travelling, I recognize the level of faith my mom had to allow me to travel with various groups without her. I’m sure she did her due diligence, and I’m grateful. I’m not a mama yet, but I can’t yet imagine how I’d handle. 😅

Blessings Guys 💙and uhhh angel I’m an Oklahoma City baby and trust me it’s a vibe at our HBCU in Guthrie , Oklahoma - Langston University, I miss it everyday ….. now I understand the change in pace and distance would hurt a lot of people , I couldn’t have imagined moving to cali when I was in college from 2017-2019 … I would have been too scared to travel and leave my family here plus I love my state … but As a 25 year old married woman of 2 kids … travel is still nervy for me to much going on in these end times but I would like to visit new places especially New Orleans … also I’m so sad yall will be getting rid of this show I’ve been watching since last year and have loved every minute of it the faith, the blackness, the humor, the long marriages , the parents , etc all of it is amazing to me in my spirit….

Angel is right about experiencing child rearing in community. My sibling and I often say we were privileged to constantly have babies in our home because we learnt how to bathe, feed, or soothe a baby, all the way through toddlerhood. Many of our peers (we are both Millennials aka Gen Y in Africa) did not get that and they are often overwhelmed by holding new-borns or changing diapers etc.

Their chemistry is great. But this show has been for a while and they can't decide on a concept. It should have just been topical to avoid all the extra work and complexity. I stopped watching all the random shows a while ago.
