The Balvenie distillery in Banffshire, Scotland

5 жыл бұрынThe Balvenie distillery in Dufftown, Scotland is owned by William Grant & Sons, like the distillery right next door, Glenfiddich.
On site you can also find Kininvie distillery, which is rarely bottled as a single cask, but is part of the Monkey Shoulder blend.
Also on site a fully operating cooperage plus traditional floormaltings, which Balvenie uses as part of their feedstock.
Visits only by pre-booking.

Have to visit this one!!! 14 caribbean cask is my favorite!!

Highly recommended visit, especially because they do their owm maltings, which is rare. Don't forget to book in advance.

Maybe I need to pay a visit seing as the picture at 2:47 features my Grandfather and Great Grandfather immediately to the right of the revenue man (customs)!
