2 жыл бұрынGuest Conductor, Sarah Ioannides, led the Stony Brook Symphony Orchestra Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021, in Samuel Coleridge-Taylor's "The Bamboula," Op. 75 (Rhapsodic Dance for Orchestra). Staller Center for the Arts, Stony Brook University. The orchestra is composed of masters and doctoral performance students in the university's world-class Department of Music who are taught and coached by the department's distinguished international faculty, including the Emerson Quartet.

Delightful and fun to play piece!

You kids did a marvelous job with this piece that I am playing my violin in March 2023. I hope to do it as well, but I doubt it. Sounds like it's in one for a great deal of the time. I think I'm allergic to one. LOL Too bad all the masks are on. I know it's hard to breath. I don't wear mine in the orchestra. It's Jan 2023 now and mandates are not around. Some people wear them, my stand partner for one, and that's fine. The conductor does not. It would be nearly impossible to 'read' him if he did.
