कुछ गलत भी कह गए। एक किसान को ज्यादा से ज्यादा 1 acre का लाइसेंस ही मिलता है। उस किसान को 48 किलो अफीम (दूध ) सरकार को देना होता है। 1 acre में लगभग निकलता भी इतना ही है लेकिन स्मगलर किसानो को ऐसी दवाईयां बताते हैं जिनके छिड़काव से अफीम 60 से 65 किलो पैदा हो जाती है। 48 किलो सरकार को देने के बाद बाकी स्मगलर को बेच देते हैं क्योंकि सरकार बहुत कम कीमत देती हैं। अफीम को मार्फीन भी नहीं कहते। मार्फीन अफीम का अगला फॉर्म है।

I'm from Barabanki ♥️ बड़े बुजुर्ग बताते हैं एक time pe kahi bahar agar apko कमरा चाहिए होता था तो लोग बाराबंकी के नाम पर कमरा तक नहीं देते थे पर अब बाराबंकी बहुत अच्छा जिला है अच्छे कामों के लिए भी♥️

आज के वक़्त में बाराबंकी में अफ़ीम की खेती ना के बराबर हो गई है । लाइसेन्स ,रिकवरी के झंझट और मेन्था की कम वक़्त में अच्छा फ़ायदा और आसान खेती होने की वजह से किसान मेन्था की तरफ़ मुड़ गया । आलोक साहब का तलफ़्फ़ुज़ बहुत बेहतरीन है ।

मैं भी पीरबटावन बाराबंकी का निवासी हुँ, लेकिन कई अच्छी चीजों को छोड़कर सिर्फ अफीम की खेती लिए बाराबंकी का नाम लेना बाराबंकी के साथ अन्याय ही होगा! हाँ पीरबटावन में हुए दंगों की कहानी बचपन से ही माता-पिता जी, के साथ ही और बहुत से लोगों से सुनता आया हूँ, आज उस दंगे की मूल वजह जानकर अच्छा लगा! धन्यवाद लल्लनटॉप!

Khaskhaas is used in cooking and you can buy from any grocery store. Poppy flowers are beautiful red color. Some colleges and park grow them dor decoration. I remember in my college time some students used to cut the bulb and produce opium. Posat being used in Punjab also called bhuki also.

Dwiwedi ji the product which is found within the fruit of opium is called Poppy seed which comes in the category of dry fruits. In Bengal it is widely used in different types of veg and non-veg dishes.
