The alleged offenses took place between 2001 and 2018, a period where it has been discovered the club paid companies owned by the former vice-President of the Technical Referees over €7m for ‘external consulting.’ The Spanish prosecution claim these payments were in the name of corruption, something Barcelona adamantly denies.

@@jonathanpuggleworth8259 the Spanish court of arbitration has found NO evidence against barca 5 DAYS ago, and they are reporting even older news now, this has happened multiple times with football daily as their videos are pre recorded For more example their show Sunday Vibes is recorded on a Thursday, so when the Sunday vibes ep acutally releases most of the info/news/dicussions become completely irrelevant as more than half of the game have already happened even before the ep is released

This isnt well known but there was a time when a President of the Refereeing commission of spain handpicked referees for each matches. There is an audio of a referee from that time testifying that before Real Madrid matches he would personally call them and tell them that they counted on him in the match the next day. During this period that he was president Real Madrid dominated winning almost everything in the league. That same president also said that while he was in charge Barca would win no leagues, which they didnt. I find it very interesting as well that after he was no longer in charge Barca started winning league titles again and Madrids dominance stopped. Plus other referees have gone on record stating that Florentino took them into rooms when they were refereeing for Madrid. This also reeks of corruption and pressuring referees but you see almost no media reporting it or caring which just seems extremely funny to me

So much wrong information in this video. First the payments were not to companies owned by Enriquez Negreira, but by his son ! The issue becomes that Enriquez was a shareholder in both companies. Also, the Spanish Court found no evidence that the money was ever used to pay referees or influence decisions! As a Barca fan, I want to know more of what happened, but this video is just poor journalism at it's finest. Half stories and creating an evident agenda.

Barcelona paid for technical reports on LA LIGA referees from 01-18 to better inform their players and staff on interactions with those refs. Legal and used in other leagues/sports. This has nothing to do with UEFA. Not only that ,but there's evidence brought forward to back Barcas claims of no wrongdoing .

When Real Madrid won 5 Champions Leagues in the last 9 years, some important games en route to the victory were actually fixed through referee corruptions, most notably: 1.A quarterfinal game vs Bayern Munich in 2017, when Arturo Vidal was red carded, even though he had a clear foul with Marco Asensio. There was a controversy where Cristiano Ronaldo scored the equaliser in extra time, but turned out to be an offside goal. 2.A quarterfinal game vs Juventus in 2018, when Gianluigi Buffon was red carded and Real Madrid scored the penalty through Cristiano Ronaldo that would have killed Juventus after the Italians mounted a 3-0 comeback win. 3.Of course, there was a semifinal vs Manchester City in 2022. Real Madrid's third goal by Karim Benzema should not be happened because the referee didn't recognize the foul that Manchester City players had committed outside the penalty box.

Problem with your logic on some of these. 1. Vidal was harshly sent off, so fair enough 2. Buffon wasn’t sent off for a foul and the penalty wasn’t awarded for anything he did. Buffon was sent off for his aggressive reaction towards the referee. The penalty was awarded because Vazquez was impeded while in front of the goal. Would the penalty have been awarded in the 90’s or the 2000’s? No. But in modern football yes. 3. It’s called an playing the advantage. If the fouling teams gains no advantage then the attacking team will allowed to play on… It’s something all referees do are supposed to do. None the controversial calls that went Madrids way even come close to Chelsea Vs Barca in 2009.

Really disappointed in your lack of research. Something i never thought I'd say under a football daily video. I know it would generate less click but for your channel I hoped you would put what the results of the investigation of the Spanish authorities were and not just saying that la liga wasn't able to investigate Barcelona. Also, you didn't research the fact that Tebas(a self proclaimed Madrid fan) has had an agenda against Barcelona. He backed Bartemou and has asked laporta to resign. He has publicly wished mbappe to join Madrid. He didn't let gavi register with the first team by bending la ligas rules specifically for that. He tried to do the same to Messi back when Messi was breaking through. And he was the one who took this case to UEFA, AFTER the Spanish authorities found nothing.

At that time, same as now, Barca and Real are BEYOND popular, they are in tier of their own.. thats why there has been many questionable calls for both teams in CL knock out sttages.. 2 clearly offside goals to push real, or bogus penalty calls that were acting and outside the box given to Barca... Popularity brings views and views bring money... so fifa was making sure 2 most popular teams get all the help they can get.

UEFA is also investigating. Do you not find it strange that Barca paid the head of referees for nearly 20 years to an offshore account and did not document it it on club accounts? Not saying they are guilty but there is a lot of smoke here.

This is why tebas and the fromt office of la liga in general should resign. That no punishment after 3 years is the worst rule ever for any league. Clearly, barca through all those years of their so-called golden generation has always been favored by the refs. Yet somehow they always try to spin those clear evidences around and blame real madrid instead. I'm so glad that I chose to be a Liverpool fan instead of being fooled by that cheating club. This first time, I actually support madrid and hope they lift that la liga cup while barca somehow gets relegated.

Honestly, this whole thing is getting tiresome. They paid that money to get detailed reports on the way different referees conducted themselves in games of Barca, Real Madrid, and Athletico Madrid. The club has put them out. This is not illegal although it does give you advantage in the way that you know what to do and what not to do. Any club can do this and it wouldn’t surprise me if they did. Now on account of Uefa Tebas a Madrid supporter took the case to them when LaLiga couldn’t find anything to put against Barca and more specifically against Laporta who he has been campaigning against since the start. Laporta does not let Tebas have the amount of control he wants on Barca and he goes against them. Barca want a super league which Uefa does not want and if they take them out of the champions league I suspect it has more to do with that than the club actually being guilty if something. I don’t think Barca should be punished of anything until the investigation is complete and all the facts are out, once that happens if they are guilty they should be punished and heavily if not all the people and media involved in the case should be buried in lawsuits for smearing Barcas image with no real evidence

I am sure the paid referee lifted Messi up and kept Man Useless defenders on the ground as he scored the winner in 08/09 UCL final. He also froze Man United Defenders as Messi scored a Stunner during the 10/11 UCL final. What a referee😂😂😂
