Im a lifelong Rams fan now living in Devon . . . My 1st ever game at the BBG was my 9th birthday 23rd October 1971 Rams 2 Arsenal 1, and we know what that season heralded!!! . . . been hooked ever since through thick, thin and even thinner . . . COYR!!!!!

Just as the music kicked in I got a bit emotional im not going to lie 😭 seeing her toward the end especially watching the flood lights being dropped broke my heart. I love pride Park but bbg was where I lost my football virginity and bbg was my first true experience of being a rams 🐏 fan. No atmosphere like it ive never experienced another sensation like it. I'm 15, I went to the BBG once for a reserves game when I was 2, can't really remember it but my dad says it was the best atmosphere ever, I really whished I could have seen a real game there

Some great old games at The old Baseball Ground. Chelsea visits in the 70s and 80s always became a show. Both off the field and on it lol. Grounds been smashed up a few times. RIP

Grounds like this are a big miss, the new flat pack stadiums have no atmosphere, as a kid I went to Roker Park, Sunderland, and, as nice as the Stadium of Light is, it is no Roker Park...It was a shithole, but it was our shithole, I imagine The Baseball is the same to Derby fans of my generation. Todays stadiums have no history, There was nothing like a Roker End that was absolutely bouncing, heaven for me as an 8yo boy

I lived at the Cavendish and grew up through my teenage years thinking it was normal to have top English and European football 10 minutes walk away. Unfortunately I have since learned that this is not the case. Thank you for this reminder of some great times.

Great night when we beat Liverpool.I didn't know we had so many Rams outside .Great night !!!

At home to Bristol Rovers or maybe Southend (?) in the early 90's was the first match I ever saw. It was an evening match with the lights on, cost about £5 to get in and stood on the pop-side towards the back (just in case I got hit on the head by a coin or someones coffee cup, stale meat pie etc, lol). It wasn't even a full house but the atmosphere made your hairs stand on end. The toilets at the rear of the stand were terrible. Definitely not the kind of place you'd go for a number 2. hahahh

Fantastic. First went in 1963, but I was only 3 and can't remember it (incredible!) Went seriously in 1967 and then constantly until 1977. And the had to work most Saturdays' so only went to midweek games mainly until 1989. But PP doesn't match the place for atmosphere, except for beating Forest!

The BBG was open and used as a training ground until around 2002.

James, Hope posting this has not caused offence. Its one on my most treasured VHS tapes...I wanted to share with the world. Its a beautiful piece. you must have lots of gems to share, come on....out with them
