Can you make a video about how that works at night with out a in house doctor? I am currently a nurse 1 year as L&d and we do have a in house doc at all times. Wondering how to y’all proceed at night. Ps I am a night shift nurse.

I just had one done the other day and was told everything was still closed but that there was mucus , I forgot to ask for the dr to clarify that but what could that mean ?

Your mucus plug is still intact and your cervix hasn’t dilated so labor has not started.

He was probably feeling your mucus plug. Look up “mucus plug”

We check the cervix, and you can typically tell just by someone demeanor
