I'm a diehard car enthusiast for many, many years and I never fully understood the terms thrown around EV's like KWh when describing battery size/capacity and this made it so much clear. This is the first video that made it made sense for me. Thanks Toyota. :)

@@davidhouston7812 I'm kinda happy I left. I'm glad I found a car I enjoy more than Toyotas! I know for sure I'm never going back to gasoline!

Own '17 Prime, I disagree. Still want some petrol vehicles. USA is 20 years away.....Question: how many charging stations are in say Philadelphia? Answer=not nearly enough. Until that changes-give me gasoline

3:26 AC doesn't rapidly flips the flow direction between Positive & Negative. It does so between point (terminal) A & point(terminal) B. Conventional current always flows from +ve to -ve or from higher to lower potential. In case of AC, Terminal A & B keep switching states between high and low, one being at higher potential, the other being at lower.

The watt is not a measure of work; work is equivalent to energy. Watts are a measure of power, which is energy transferred per unit time or work done per unit time (the video says this, so it’s not self consistent). Joules are the measure of electrical work or energy. Watts = joules/sec. See any textbook on circuit analysis.

Informative video. Hey Toyota, don't know if you are willing to take suggestion about the BZ4X paint scheme, but I'll give it a shot anyway. In my opinion the two toned scheme looks good on the metallic grey model but seems off with the other colors like the black on white and the black on red. I believe this is because black and grey are somewhat similar while this similarity does not exist with white/black and red/black. I suggest that you experiment with Red/Dark Red instead of Red/Black. I believe this will have as positively similar effect to the Grey/Black color scheme. White/Off White will be my suggestion instead of White/Black. Thank you for your time.

Lead acid batteries are not worth using in electric cars….not enough capacity nor output.

Hard pass, its a good commuter component but hot garbage in full EV. Japan has it right, focus on making clean energy, not outsourcing auto pollution to a power grid that's absolutely dirty.
