Media college student here. This is all seems so obvious but I missed lots of these shot types when I filmed my first chase scene, thank you. A great, straightforward, and informative video with just the right amount of technical info (lenses used, terminology, etc.) without being too dumbed down or becoming unnecessarily detailed or complex. Will definitely bear this all in mind when working on my next chase scene. New sub right here.

Point Break foot chase is soooo great, it's also a favourite! I also like the BAD BOYS first movie which had a nice foot chase (that one I thought was too sef-concious and over-acted, but still great fun to watch).

Hi Great video and very informative . I did however want to ask how a scene in "King Arthur , the legend of the sword" it when king Arthur and his friends were running through the town trying to escape the black leg soldiers. It a very strange way in which it was. Filmed. Only their heads are shown and they do not appear to fit in with the environment. It about mid way through the film. Hope you can answer how it was filmed. Thanks again.

Thanks for watching! The effect is called the 'SnorriCam' - it is done by attaching the camera to the actor as they run, sort of as if they were wearing a stedicam, but having it face in instead of out. Check out kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jthnZsirmdLVdH0.html for more info
