One of the things I appreciate the most about following and loving Home Free is that their journey introduces you to other wonderful artists. Through Home Free collaborations to their solo projects, and their collaborations. Since I got to know about Home Free, some 6 years ago, I've become a fan of Peter Hollens, he Bass Gang, Chris Chatham, Sebastian Duyon, And through them, Lindsey Stirling, Peter Barber, Avi Kaplan, and so many others. It's like a wonderful close community, close but still available to all of us!

The Bass Gang kept Tim's presence a secret until the video aired. They let a few reactors see it early so they could have their reactions ready for release day, and their surprise and joy at seeing Tim was really fun. You might watch Jen and Mortius to see their reactions to the 'unveiling'. The Bass Gang was really stoked to have Tim join them, Peter Barber waxed quite a bit about how working with Tim was fantastic, how much effort Tim put in, etc. And they didn't limit him to the basement, either. All of these guys have very large ranges, like Tim - well, maybe not QUITE as large as Tim's. The Bass Gang has a growing catalog - and a variety of songs.

Four very talented young basses from across the world. From left to right in the first shot - Marwan Ayman who lives in Egypt. He's the youngest. I believe he recently turned 20. Peter Barber is the oldest at 30. He currently sings with the Arizona Opera. Tomi P (his last name is too Czech for me to ever get right) is from the Czech Republic. Bobby Watson (commonly called Bobby Bass) is from Boston. They met on-line and until last summer had never met in person, despite having released numerous videos. Last summer they did a cycle of 4 Disney songs which are totally worth a look. Each of them arranged and "starred in" on of them and you get to see a little more of their individual personalities. The first in that cycle is Arabian Nights, featuring Marwan. Last month they released the creepiest sea shanty video ever - My Jolly Sailor Bold which is absolutely fabulous. And they just released their cover of the opening credit song from the TV show Vikings, in collaboration with Ekaterina Shelahova. If you want bass, this is definitely the song for you. I did not know Ekaterina before that video, but she has a very lovely, ethereal soprano voice. I also highly recommend Peter's reaction to the Hooked on a Feeling video. He had not seen the final version and you can tell how pumped up he was about working with Tim. Enjoy! Oh - and each of these guys has their own You Tube channel with solo work and other collabs.

The guy in the green shirt is Peter Barber. He’s a trained opera singer who also has a reaction/review channel. He breaks down the musicality of songs. He even interviewed Tim several years ago on his channel. I don’t know the other gentlemen’s name since the Bass Gang is still knew to me, too. I’ve seen this video a few times. They remind me of Home Free and Voice Play in that they’re fun to watch and they don’t mind showing their goofy side. Love that Tim was the featured artist on it, too! Some of his bass notes and another one rattled my headphones. Lol

They had fun putting a juice box in his hands because he is "under aged". So, while the others are having wine...he can't. LOL They had so much fun clowning around in the background. It was so good.

Great reaction! The Bass Gang is a Bass A Cappella group that started during the pandemic they live all around the world and I believe just recently met in person. Peter Barber lives in Virginia ( is also a KZfaq reactor) Bobby Bass from Connecticut, Tomi P from the Czech Republic, Marwan Avman from Egypt. Before the actual release of this video they let a few reactors who react to both The Bass Gang and Home Free react to it without knowing the song or who they were collaborating with those reactions were hilarious 😂 Peter did a reaction to this video he never seen the finished video and was so excited they got to collaborate with Tim. Tim is wearing the Star Lord jacket because this song was in Guardians Of The Galaxy. Marwayn is the youngest not drinking age

When they first came out with this song, they just said it would be special. Didn't tell those reacting to it that Tim was in it. Reactions were so fun when the person saw Tim pop up

The Bass Gang is a fourth force on the a cappella scene! They were so pumped to get Tim to collaborate, and I love it that their legendary bass singing guest ended up carrying the tenor lead throughout! These guys are so much fun, and so much bass! I recommend the quartet of Disney songs they released, one at a time, last summer! 1) Arabian Nights, with Marwan; 2) Be Prepared, with Tomi P.; Gaston, with Peter; and last but not least (1), Friend Like Me, with Bobby Bass. Do them in that order to glean the "storyline"! Love your reaction.

This is a fun one. They seem to have had a good time. ( I love the juice box part. Marwan looks so young) . I do know that when Peter Barber reacted to the completed video for the first time he had stars in his eyes every time he mentioned Tim. Thanks for the reaction . Such a fun video! The man "proposing" to Tomi is Casper Fox, their manager and terrific singer in his own right. Try Mad World feat. Elliott Robinson. (Elliott sang bass for a short time for Home Free pre-Tim.) Hide And Seek feat. Lauren Paley is another one. Of course, others have mentioned the four Disney songs by The Bass Gang. Each member has a crazy bass range; Peter Barber, the opera singer, has a 6-octave voice.

Highly recommend more Bass Gang, particularly "Jolly Sailor Bold." Really displays their individual characteristics when they're in the lower parts of their ranges.

How great was that! Love having Tim sing with the Bass Gang. It must have been a big honor for them. Tim is the growl master but he can also sing high. I have always liked this song done first by the late B.J. Thomas in 1968. It was later done by Jonathan King in 1971 & Blue Swede in 1974 who both added the "ooga chaka" part. What makes this even more impressive is that none of the guys were even together. Great editing!

Great reaction! You’re right that this shows off all Tim’s range, but check out the range of the other guys in the harmonies, too. Tomi (the one who falls out of the frame with a bottle of wine) has a 6.5 octave range-at least! I hope you’ll check out more by these guys. Even tho the group has been around for a couple years , I think of them still as kind of a start-up. They’ve only released about 20 songs so far because logistically it’s hard to work around the stuff each of them do as solo artists (check out their channels and SM). Plus they’re all over the world so they have to do it all on green screen. Marwan, the youngest, lives in Egypt, Tomi is in the Czech Republic, and Peter and Bobby are in different parts of the US. Anyway, they still manage to produce some really creative music videos. Also, Tomi just dropped Lion on his solo channel (@TomiPVideos). You’re reacting to two of my favorite acapella groups, these guys and Voiceplay, so I’ll be checking in a lot!

i knew you would get a kick out of this. the bass gang is great and you should definitely check out more of their stuff. mad world is a bass show on its own and emperors new clothes is awesome. marwan is the guy with the juice box is or was underage when that scene was done. these guys only recently met for the first time except marwan, he couldn't get out of egypt in time for the meet up. they normally film their own videos and one of them puts it all together

Love it when the song selections make you smile. You have such an adorable personality that really shines out when you smile. Yes this was a fun presentation. The one who hit that low note singing, "another glass of wine" is Bobby "Bass" Waters. He sings with another group called the Wellermen as well, which came about during the lock down, sea shanty craze in 2021. The Bass Gang and the Wellermen teamed up to do a cover of the sea shanty, Santiana. Their music is worth checking out as well. I found the Wellerman when I was doing background research for a painting I had been commissioned to do based on a song, The Mingulay Boat Song. I love ships and the sea and that whole genre. Funny for a guy who grew up on a Thoroughbred horse farm in Kentucky. Primarily I am a Home Fry, but have always liked all kinds of music. Looking forward to your next reaction, what ever it may be.

I'm so happy that Tim introduced me to the Bass Gang! They have some great stuff as a group and as individuals. Definitely worth more reactions. Marwan had to have a juice box as he's not yet 21😂 but he's a brilliant musician. Peter (green shirt) is a professional opera singer and has his own reaction channel. Tomi (purple shirt) has an insane range and Bobby (bearded) has a beautiful rich bass. Try their cover of My Jolly Sailor Bold. They often have guests in collaborations - their manager Caspar Fox has his own channel and there's a fun version of The Lion Sleeps Tonight where the juice box makes a reappearance 😊
