I miss her. She was the best female cop in all Batman series.

It's unfortunate this show doesn't get the love it deserves. I really love how stylized/distinct it is from the other batman animated shows.

Not a day goes by that it doesn't sadden me that Yin never made her way into other batmedia

Fun Fact: Detective Yin is voiced by Ming Ma Wen, the actress who portrayed Chun-Li in Street Fighter.

I really hate how they cut her character out as the series went on even though they had a whole episode of batman trying to save her from the joker's mind even with clayface.

Ming na Wen she plays Fennec Shand and Detective Yin,she always plays badass amazonian action women. Also she still looks young. She's also always plays waifu material.

Fun Fact this show has its own comic book called "The Batman Strikes" and it has Ellen meeting Barbara aka Batgirl for the first time and Ellen fighting again against Clayface

one of the best batman cartoons. and Yin is a female character I really enjoyed. Hopefully she'll be able to make a return in a future batman franchise one day

I was really disappointed with how she was handled by season 4. It seemed like she was going to be a great character and partner of Batman, and then season 4 just forgot her. Talk about a shame.

0:10 Looking back at The batman with Rojas i can't call him a full-on bad guy it was clear he thought he was doing what he thought was right and got fed up with the office force made into a joke and got ticked with Bennett for defending the batman and even gave him warnings showing how far he was losing his own way without realizing his own flaws

You know I started thinking about Batman Beyond recently and while I love the show I've always felt that Terry's supporting cast was always lacking most notable with his love interests and family. One idea I had was to switch out Terry's annoying and one note kid brother with Carrie Kelly from The Dark Knight Returns but the other notable change is to Terry's love life. Namely getting rid of Dana "No One Has Bothered to Develop My Character In Over 25 Years" Tan and bringing in Detective Ellen Yin as Terry's love interest. She starts the series out as the Detective investigating the death of Terry's father and, much like in this show, as an anti-Batman Officer but over the course of the series to being friends with Terry and an ally to Batman and eventual girlfriend. I honestly think the two would be perfect for one another and would be an interesting story to explore and give more focus on a character who got needlessly shelved.

She looks suspiciously, like other detective girl, who works with night warrior, only with a bit...more closer relationships.

She almost sounds similar to Mulan, both are voiced by Ming na wen
