Agreed....I see how that guy thinks of it as them trying to put every batsuit into one, but think it is just a rendition of the AO suit.....not that I'm a fan of it, I'm a grey-flannel man to the end....but VERY happy that the cowl is finally done comic-accurate in a Movie at last.

The dots on the face are probably to track the stunt mans face to then replace it with Pattinson’s face with CGI, at least that’s my guess.

Obviously the suit is gonna look weird in these raw set photos. Cinematography, special effects, color grading, acting, all these factors will add to the suit in the final film.

Plus this is the stuntman suit, so little things will be less detailed. For example you can tell the blades on his arm look a little flimsy.

@Hassan Syed Well this is just the stunt suit, which explains why it doesn't look very presentable. Go check out the new Batmobile pictures for a better look at the proper costume. And until we see a full official photo of the suit, we should hold any judgements until then.

I think the whole thing looks awful... yes, this is just the cheap version for the stunt guy... the expensive will look better, but how much better? I can't stand to help feeling like it's a cosplayers suit... the gauntlets look horrible, almost like SNM, biker porn.. the ears, and cowl the same... the belt being all black is dumb to me as well...

I agree, i honestly dont see what all the fuss is about, i think on a subconscious level fans are just desperate to have more Batman again in movies and a really good Batman movie again so they are just bigging up everything. Ben Affleck was a very good Batman, he looked amazing in the suit, he had the best adaptation accurate from the comics, he was just let down by not so good Batman movies.

People, almost every suit looks diferent after post. This was taken with a cellphone camera. This suits is hand made, the first one, so it makes sense is kinda messy. I'm more concerned with how inteligent Bruce is, because they only made him a regular man on previous movies. Batfleck was very moronic, tbh. I trust Reeves will make the world's greatest detective.

That's because it's just a reference cowl. They're gonna replace his head with Pattinson's head. The cowl is visibly made of a different material, and the ears are probably there for reference, and will probably look better on the actual cowl made for Robert Pattinson. I really hope they release official photos soon, they might as well.

i feel like as this version of batman continues his career, he’ll discover lighter more slim materials that are stronger and more protective to put on his suit. just like bale he had a bulky suit to start and in tdk he asked for a more lightweight and more mobile suit. we’ll get better in the years to come but i still love it

The reason the stuntman’s legs look so small is because whoever took this photo had to zoom in a ton to capture it, which compresses any foreshortening.

I think the new Bat bike will look cool on film and even though early on I wanted the year one suit I trust Reeves and I'm sure the Suit will look a lot better on screen. I dont really like the full suit right now. There are some parts of the suit that i love and some that i actually hate. The ears are way to thin for me and the eyes look a little bit goofy. I hope this is just a prototype suit and there are other suits. And those things on his arms are little bit too much, but yeah. Im rating this a 6/10. What do you rate it chris?

Word around the street is that the suit that’s being showed out atm isn’t the actual ending suit, Some sources say it’s the first edition that will eventually lead up to the actual official bat suit towards the end of the movie, It’s basically like what they did with spider-man.

This is the stunt suit not the actual Batman suit. Stunt suits are way more loose and janky for mobility. The actual one will look a lot different.

I love this batsuit!!! It exactly what the Matt said it was gonna be. That it's gonna be a home made suit and that's what this is! Plus I'm sure with proper lighting and a cape it'll look ten times better. Even the Batbike looks like a well Batbike!

Yeah it looks really cool it’s very tactical looking and like you said it’s year 2!!! I really like this new look haven’t seen this in any Batman movie yet and like you said also Chris it’s very early in the filming stages they’re not gonna waste a lot of money on putting the expensive suit on the stunt man I think it’s going to be amazing it’s gonna be a good year for amazing movies and by the way matrix 4 !!! for is being filmed in San Francisco right now

Hi Chris, check this out, this is what I think could happen: So sometimes the film industry listens to fans and might change a few things (like sonic)... so they could add a little yellow here and there on the suit in post prod. ... and a cape?

I really like the way this batman is going. I'm real big into the comics that have batman making wildly upgraded suits since this is like is first suit I hope one day we get far enough to see the batman beyond or hellbat suit some crazy tech.

Those metal rods on his forearms look like ninja throwing spikes. Would make sense since he's still new at this and might not have the bat shaped throwing stars yet. I believe this is some kind of stealth mission. Would also explain why the cape is missing. He can't "fly" yet.

I dont think those are tracking dots I think it's just mud on the stuntman from riding the bike. It looks like its raining or it just rained. Love your channel keep up the amazing work and content.
