There's a lot of parts to meander through until you finally get the true Batmobile. Matt Reeves, James Chinlund, and Ash Thorp (and so many others) put together an amazing Batmobile in The Batman. While I left myself room to be wrong on some aspects, I stand behind my research in this video. Hopefully the world's greatest detective would be proud.
Watch the videos linked below! Anyway, I hope you enjoy this video! JW

Giving Martha's Truck Justice: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rZd1qrFzuqnLpKc.html Remember Man of Steel and that scene where Jonathan Kent tells Clark that "maybe" he should've let those kids die? Did you know that same truck comes back for Zack Snyder's Justice League? It's actually an incredibly emotional inclusion to the Snyder Cut.

The one thing I took away from the movie about the Batmobile was the sound when it starts up in the alley. It looked cool in the garage but the car came to life with the low burble of V8 mixed with the high pitched whine of turbine, just so awesome. It immediately turned from a prop to an actual character when it starts up!!!

The asymetric flame popping from the front engine nearly made me chear aloud in cinema. One of 3 shots from this movie I will remember. The other 2 are Battinson walking towards Penguin with flames in the background and the dark fighting scene lighted only by machine pistol fire.

For me a moment I will always remember was when the batcave appeared for first time, and there was a shot of the batmobile's engine sitting there. A bunch of people on the cinema gasped, including me. My friend asked why, I pointed the engine. It's absolutely nasty to strap two turbos on a humongous V10 engine, but I didn't know how to explain to my non-car people friends how that engine was a warning to what was coming

Great research. I read where all the shots they did with the flames (coming out the rear and the engine bay in the front) were filmed using the electric car to avoid flammable gasoline. I'm guessing from a design perspective they wanted the rear engine to power the "jet Engine turbine" and the front engine was the standard V-8 driving the vehicle. At least that is why it made sense to me to have two engines.

"In universe" the vehicle only has one engine. The real props have the "real" engine concealed because the visible engine -- especially the rear flame --- could never work.
@mickray3202
@mickray3202 2 жыл бұрын
That was kind of my take-away from the movie: that the car must have a big V8 in front that is the main driving power to the wheels (exhaust flames under the hood), and the rear engine is supposed to be more of a jet engine for strategic power boosts, like jumping the car thru the flaming semi truck. But what really matters is that THIS Batmobile in THIS chase scene was a huge adrenaline rush and played out almost like a scene from a horror movie.

She has a team helping her, including a PR person. Makes a decent living doing sponsorship ads. One thing to note though. Merch drops usually are what makes a content creator the most. As Streetspeed717 showed one video $12k on one video. But doing a giveaway video involving merch was $300k in sales. But yeah back to Emelia, all her money goes to the builds with little going to herself.

On the designers site Ash Thorp has some very 69 Camaro drawings as well. I saw a behind the scenes of the Batbike and it sounded electric. It may be a Harley electric. Also, a 'Lotus 7' had a camera strapped onto it. Same! I've never seen a car reveal as memorable as the Batmobile snarling and growling in the shadows; a hungry, angry, monster ready to hunt it's prey. So amazing! Ash Thorp did a stellar job on this. Regarding the steering wheel, there are several enthusiast companies that custom machine steering wheels (and other company) out of aluminum like Evodindustries and Sparktech, so being that a steering wheel would be very prominent in POV shots, I’d guess it was custom made for whatever look the designer wanted, either in-house or outsourced to a fab shop like the ones mentioned .

Best cinema Batmobile EVER! Makes total sense that this Batmobile is very basic in comparison to previous Batmobiles. It’s very raw, à la Mad Max. Since this is his 2nd year as the Bat. I love that it’s crude and brute. Because everything is still a learning experience and Bruce Wayne is all emotional temperament. Not sophisticated nor knowing the advantage he can have by embracing or using his Wayne legacy. And you can see it in the Batmobile. I know it’s pure fiction. But it’s great that they can make a believable and practical vigilante Batmobile.

For me the coolest scene in the movie was when the Batmobile appears. Amid the chaos of a gunfight you hear a sound that makes everyone stop. And out of the dark appears thus beast glowing red and spitting fire. The revving engine daring you to run, but it's going to chase you down.

Its not a Dodge Charger, its a 1971 or so Plymouth Cuda. The front end and rear lights, plus the roofline are more of a match to that. That side window placement has been altered and also the rear window where the jet engine is.

Could it be that the car was supposed to have 2 engines? The front provides power to the front wheels and electricity for the car and the rear acts as a sort of over-power mode driving the rear wheels when speed and 4wd is needed?

Man! How is it you only have 2.7k subscribers!? The quality of synopsis you give is damn good and more into the minutia of detail I’ve not seen in other similar videos. Great video and it’s almost like you’ve moved into this kind of video from say, a mechanics channel? Great job though, you’ve definitely got a subscriber in me!

I just paused the video when you asked for like and subscribe. You know why, because you fuckin earned it. There is so much custom on this batmobile without loosing the "shit I recognize that" factor. You just answered every question I had and then some. I just want a lexam version of this body for my arrma felony.

You did an amazing job with this video. What people have to understand this is batman in his beginning years as a crime fighter so him and Alfred pretty much had to do everything from scratch. I hope eventually they show Foxx and he looks over and the batmobile and says I like what you did but I can do better.

I would absolutely love a scene where Bruce and Lucius collaborate a la Bruce Banner and Tony Stark (except it of course has to fit Matt Reeves's Batverse)

IMAX is all well and good, but having experienced this movie in a number of theatres, my FAVOURITE experience was in a small, intimate cinema (~40 seater) with an exceptional audio setup. Nothing was blown-out (as imax cinemas have a tendency to do) and the movie was the most immersive of all viewings.

I love the attention to detail to this video. (I’ve always had a fixation on the 2nd Gen Chargers. Hopefully getting my project next year), I’m so into cars that oftentimes I’ve been told I might as well speak Chinese lmao. I make these anecdotes because this video satisfied that part of me that’s finnicky when looking at cars and components. I was shocked to see the sub count didn’t have an M at the end. You just got yourself another subscriber man, good stuff.
