Gacha cat is way stronger as a paid units but no one really complaint it's P2W, he's literally an early game Shellboner tho.

@@deadclawh3851 yes, but they didn't absolutely obliterate their niche. Headmaster cat basically carries the catacdemy stages with barely any help from the other units needed.

@non_bng8401 I have tested him out in a few stages before, his speed is devastatingly slow and does not make up for his tankiness at high levels. As for early game potential, his stats at low levels are terrible and you can't use catseyes in early game

I almost didn’t realize you re-upped the video (because I fell asleep). Even with the heightened stat increase, he’s still a titan cat. And I don’t even think new players can get him to +50 anyway until they get like 5k user rank or something (I forgor). But I’m glad to see you added the info anyway, people just thought he was a combo slave when you uploaded the og vid. *AND HE STILL IS*

Gacha cat is literally lock behind 15.99$ pack, I think this one is already pretty cheap. Normally nothing really worth spending in this game aside from officer club gold, more opportunities to support the game is great imo.

Thats interesting to say hes a no gacha unit. while he definetly is, i think you shouldnt use it in a no gacha playthrough since the point of no gacha is sorta like playing completley free to play. Then again if your just challenging yourself to not use those kinds of units (gacha units) then i think its fair game. I wont buy it in mine though i think it would be more fun

I mean on one hand I'm glad Battle cats doesn't make good premium units so the game isn't paid to win but on the other hand the premium units are bad. I don't know to be happy or mad about this, so I'm kind of neutral sided. I mean it's bad in some ways. Good on others but because of the fact I'm mid game right now it's genuinely useless to me and the only thing I want out of this update is chalkboard cat

It seems doesn't know how to make good premium units, it should have 30K HP, a 1050 cost, and slightly fast cooldown.

it's good decision i think. if PONOS made all premium unit good, it will create an unfair advantage for F2P players. keep it as joke unit that's only good for certain gimmick level.

@@hooraw7760 but what if it evolves into more? They did it now and if theres not enough backlash they might as well continue, as they make more money from it. This pattern is so well known in the gaming space, I am surprised no one recognized it. And yes, maybe Ponos isn't like that, but are you really 100% certain?

@@SlimeyZockt This isn't the first time they released a paid-only unit, and much like all previous ones, it sucks absolute ass. Even if it was good (which it isn't), we have literal hundreds of units in this game, them releasing a good one that happens to be paid is not the end of the world. Also, some of you just plain don't even know what "p2w" even means anymore, I swear to god.

Pay to win regard for a certain purchase to literally make you win, specifically in stages here. That the unit has the capability to just win you these stages makes it pay to win. Though I didn't know about the other units. My point still stands though, even if Ponos may or may not go through with it. I hope for the latter

@@SlimeyZocktI mean to be fair man. They've been doing premium money units for years now and it's never evolved past a unit. That's only good for that event and then is utterly useless for another year or until the event is back. I feel like people are taking this way too far. They've been doing these money units for years. It's not evolved past anything besides a unit. Only good for the event
