On the Serengeti, and everywhere else, the survival of the fittest and the cruel un-caring natural selection process is in effect. Guns vs low grade metal ore spears happened. Yet the strong natives preserved despite the cost of way-to-many young men. Great Britain exhausted the natural resources of their island nation. They needed resources beyond their isle to survive and to feed their people. They knew what they needed to do to survive. Hum , load of rubbish. Yes Zulu did surprise and kill many horsemen, but this was not a battle more a reconnaissance in force which was surprised and lost many horsemen, but lead to the TOTAl defeat of the Zulu’s . This was a one sided war with only one silly mistake. Ps why do you keep playing that ridiculous words from the film Zulu by a sergeant, who in reality was the complete opposite of the actor in the film

Likewise I would complain that given the immense immigration into South Africa that the lack of diversity in the Zulu Forces appears unbalanced and unrepresentative of the population proportionally speaking.
