I'm very happy that someone who does YTPs of Tom Scott's work has the same appreciation for subtitles that he does! It's sad he never released an uncut of his subtitle rant because a YTP of that could have been legendary.

of course! i've used subtitles for my self in the past as i feel it helps with sensory issues and stuff like that! feels so good to provide a useful service to people who need it y'know. and as for the subtitle rant, there used to be a video on the matt and tom channel where they discussed the importance of subtitles, i think it might have gotten taken down because it was too jokey or something idk.

it's edited as much as i could, i think a thing like citation needed has a slow pace generally because of all the information and it's a bit hard to sacrifice that for a lot of fast pace jokes and the like. however I'm glad you found it funny! 😀

For those prone to startling from loud/distorted audio, please avoid the following timecodes in the video or at the very least keep them in mind, 1:07-1:08, 1:56-1:57 4:26-4:27! Thank you so much! I don't personally have much trouble with distorted audio but for the sake of those who do it's so nice to see a YTP maker warn the audience ahead of time.

i binge watch tech diff like People binge the office, watch it all in a weekend then do it again the next weekend, since this video has come out every single time I hear Matt ask "is fishguard a shield" im always expecting "is Fishguard a shishguard" and its painful not to hear it
