Thanks for this video. I thought I bought a fake vans at Kohl's because mine looks different from what I usually see on the streets (old skool). Now I know that my shoes is not fake but only in a different style.

Love vans! Their old school look and some of their designs are so artsy and creative so I love it. I only own a few pair though. Plus they are pretty comfortable and clean.

the term sauce means awesome in slang, and kage comes from Naruto, the "Kage" is referred to the strongest person in their village that is able to protect it 😁

The Black Vans Old Skools are like... I don’t try too hard to be cool, but everyone thinks I’m hella cool when I’m rocking these Old Skools. These shoes are hella comfortable, really affordable, gives a humble vibe but the coolest kid in town vibe. It’s a universal timeless shoe. You don’t need to buy an expensive $1000 shoe with a plastic tag attached to it with an off white logo on the heel. You just gotta be you and rock a black vans old skool. You’ll be cooler than those hypebeasts maybe even more with a relatable shoe like the Vans Old Skool. 🙌🏼

Vans Ward platform fits a little bit smaller than your actual size. For example, I’ve always had Vans Old Skool, with and without platform, and they fit really well! Instead, for Vans Ward Platform, they fits a little bit smaller and it’s noticeable

I was undecided about which ones to buy, after seeing your video I got worse. I like both looks, but I think I'll prefer the old skool ones because they have better heel support and I spend a lot of time on my feet at work and so I can always wear them there one day or another.

I prefer Ward because they seem to hold up better, shoe strings are correct size and not too long, and they are easier to find without suede.

You forgot the lace holes on the ward have the leather material behind the laces system and the ward has a lower look around the ankle.

I have a couple questions on fit differences. Ive owned like 5 pairs of Wards and no Old Skools, lol. 1. Which feel flatter/more minimalist/more barefoot feeling inside? I use it as a lifting shoe and the key qualities are thin/flat/hard/stable sole, almost barefoot-like feel. 2. Which fits wider? 3. Which goes higher up the ankle? It almost appears like the laces on Old Skools are higher elevated than Wards. -Thanks!

I don’t get why people would choose ward they fit worse and don’t even get sold on the vans website, makes me feel like the wards are lower quality, i thought the wards i had were old schools at first until I realized they’re way different, thought they were fake vans😂
