This movie I absolutely amazing. The best in the series imo.
" As the Clone Wars progressed, more and more ground-based legions found themselves pressed into space combat, including the fighting forces of the 501st. For months, every hour of our downtime was spent in the simulator, preparing for the time we would face our enemies from the cockpit of a 170. Finally, the day came to earn our wings. The CIS staged a daring kidnapping of chancellor Palpatine, and was being escorted from Courscant by a fleet of Seperatist ships. With only a few veteran pilots on planet many of the 501st were pressed into service to drive off the seps, and buy time for a pair of Jedi knights to rescue the chancellor. "

That level in “LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga” was so satisfying when I first played it as a kid. The cinematography and thrill of a dangerous space battle was so much fun. And the fact that John Williams’ music was going at rapid speed while I’m soaring through enemy forces adds to the excitement of the experience. Just went in and starting annihilating all those fighters, collecting a bunch of LEGO studs and got all the Minikits in one try was awesome! I know I’m probably going a bit overboard with it, but I just like talking about nerdy stuff like that. That’s how I am.

@alexslgato17352 жыл бұрын
Back at the time this was released, they were a bit less of a joke in ground warfare when they had a competent general (back in 2003 Grievous was a very capable strategist and Jedi Killer and most of the campaigns leaded directly by him were won), but yeah, excluding those moments they were the laughstock of armies, even worse than the average stormtroopers.

Mainly since they were design to win through sheer number instead of actual tactical advantage with aim. Did anyone ever notice the opening crawls in the prequels never use Anakin or Obi-wan. They're always referred to as Jedi. I think Williams was doing the Harry Potter ost at the same time and would’ve had two+ films in the Nominees
@Jared_Wignall2 жыл бұрын
The score is excellent, but due to the rules the Academy has for Best Original Score, this score and likely the other prequels, wouldn’t have been eligible due to using many cues and themes of the original trilogy, thus making the score not comprised of enough original cues and themes that are exclusive to just this film. They’re very strict when it comes to original score. I understand their reasoning, but their reasoning is to a fault at times. These reasons are why There Will Be Blood didn’t get nominated for Best Original Score as Jonny Greenwood had a mix of original music made specially for the film and music that is either classical or older material he composed for other projects. Basically, since the same is used for the Star Wars prequels, there’s an argument that the score isn’t 100% original as there’s too much of a mix of older themes and cues with new ones and when looked at as a whole, it would likely be determined that there was more music from the original trilogy incorporated into the score of the prequels. While it’s fine to have older cues or themes from a previous film if this is a sequel to a previous film or films, the older cues and themes cannot make up over 50% of the score with the new music for the film. I don’t recall the exact percentage but I think over 50% sounds a bit right. But the original themes and cues in the prequels are incredible.
@Jared_Wignall2 жыл бұрын
@@Berd413 no, Willams didn’t do Harry Potter 4, which was the film that came out the same year as Revenge of the Sith. Williams only did the first three Harry Potter films and there have been various people nominated for Original Score for different films, I mean Williams beat himself when he won for Star Wars in 1978 as he was also nominated for Close Encounters of the Third Kind. It’s not odd for people to be nominated against themselves in the music categories, though it could possibly backfire and someone else wins due to one cancelling themselves out as people might not be able to vote on just one being the superior score or song, so the Oscar will go to someone else.

Star Wars Battlefront II (2017) needed a Coruscant map for Galactic Assault. Phase one would be defending the chancellor’s office against the Separatist team like Clone Wars 2003. Phase two if the Separatists succeed goes into space, and the Republic team has to blast their way into the Invisible Hand. If successful, phase three of the game mode would require the Republic team to take control of the ship and land it back safely on Coruscant.
