The area of Bosworth had been in high profile during the preceding week as the funeral cortege of King Richard III had passed close by the railway. The hill in the right background at 6:04 was part of the Battlefield of Bosworth. With guest engine 4141 and resident 3803 a regular service every 70 minutes was run with a goods train at the start and finish of the day. As can be seen from the video it was extremely windy with showers for the first day of the Gala on March 29th which made filming rather challenging. I am grateful for the courtesy extended by the staff apart from the guard of the final goods train of the day who would benefit from a course in diplomacy and public relations.
