Battlefront 2 is really good. I’ve had so many cinematic moments in that game and the lightsaber play is really intuitive

@@hardcum4096 but it’s no OG Battlefront 3, which is the problem. EA cancelled that when they killed Pandemic Studios, and Disney killed it when they bought Star Wars and killed old projects, reducing LucasArts to a shadow of its former self.

Can you do everything with a smaller fighter that your can do with this? Could this do it's job as effectively with only a single crew? If the added crew make it twice as effective then it is worth it. Personnel are expendible ultimately, just like equipment. Whatever the modern trendy catechism is, soldiers die. And a heavy fighter like this presumably can do things lighter ones can't. My assumption is that they can destroy smaller vessels, they need extra crew to manage the heavy weapons and they need defensive guns because they are not as capable in close combat. Of course the _real_ reason they exist is to look cool and so they could film a cool throwback scene reminding the audience of snow speeders, and even every SBD dive bomber scene they have ever watched.

I remember in the 90’s imagining what the clone wars were going to be like. Hundreds of Jedi against hundreds of mandolorians. The battle of genonosis was pretty close to what I had in my head. Lots of Light sabres, lots of clones (with mando like helmets) sandstorm ect. Except they were all fighting droids.

It's amazing how much of the lore was destroyed in their attempt to create the perfect gluttonous whale of a consumer. I don't think i can ever forgive disney. I haven't taken a disney cruise or visited their theme park since, and i proactively teach my children to be weary of their predatory business practices. Both Disney and EA should lose the right to market games to children, digital drug dealers.

I feel that. I used to play every game mode and slowly but surely it dwindled down to only hopping on for a few rounds of Showdown til that got toxic enough. Then it was everyday. Deleted the game and haven’t touched it since. It’s pathetic what that game has become.. so lame.

There was a lot of pressure to release content from the sequels that ended up leaving the prequels at the end. A mustafar DLC with Ahsoka and Ventress as heroes was already being planned, but they canceled it for the releasing of Rise of Skywalker DLC 😥

you talking about cosmetics and/or expanded universe content. The problem with new battlefronts is not in the company EA. Nor in Disney. It's in global gaming market. You cant make a successfull, trending, all platforms, game based on boring, military simulator genre. People want fast paced, no-brain, pew-pew-pew action packed game to play for 1-2 hours after work. Company delivers. The more complicated game is - the less of casual playerbase will play it.

Battlefront 2 was limited by default, the core gameplay, design, and hardware would never allow it to be anything close to what squad is. Ps4 just can’t do it and until people are aware of that they can stop pedaling these baseless claims because last gen consoles are purely the reason for all of the limitations where most of the money is still being made.

@@TheAspiringLawgiver I played both - they were also amazing. I only started playing BF2 around a year ago so they've patched up earlier issues. I think from this standpoint it's an amazing game,don't get why people hate on it so bad maybe you can elaborate... I mainly play Hvv and Supremacy

@@adl7370 I hate on them because they got rid of features from the original battlefront games that had originally come out on the Xbox and 360. The pacing and gunplay is different in the newer games, but it's expected they would try and make it like Battlefield. The OG games played different and I prefer those because I sunk hours into them. I tried to like the newer games, but they just didn't have the same appeal.

@@TheAspiringLawgiver my friend, you expected it to be a modernised version of the old game with just fresh graphics and same gameplay. If you let go of old game open up to new one sure you will see they've mad some significant improvements (especially if you are into the movies.) It's subtle, but they have captured so much in terms of the units special abilities and heroes. Much better balance as well i.e you need skill with heroes now to thrive. In old bf2 you could be a noob and be almost impossible to kill they've balanced it out nicely imo. I'd say give supremacy another shot deffo worth it see you in the game ;)

Nah, BF 2 Dice wasn't as good as I hoped. To be fair, the graphics and the maps were crazy good. But the gameplay was strange.... it didn't feel as fun as BF 1 Dice. It felt more..... superficial and meaningless. In BF 1 Dice, getting 30+ kills was an achievement. In BF 2 Dice, getting 40+ kills was the norm. I don't know how else to explain it.... but BF 2 Dice was a big disappointment for me personally

@@TheAmazingHoho576 I disagree. The gameplay is incredible. Especially compared to the first one. The first game was clunky and slow. You couldn’t even roll forwards lol. Not to mention the force user gameplay was actual shit. In BFll, everything feels just better. The gunplay was smoother and the melee was faster. Getting a kill as a trooper just feels so much more satisfying in the second one. Also yeah, getting 30 kills feels different from 40 kills in this games because they have different play styles. 30 in 1 isn’t equivalent to 30 in 2. Maybe like 50 is the equivalent. Lol IDK🙃

@@Chosen_one_501 We have different opinions for sure. But the difference between BF1 Dice and BF2 Dice was the reason I barely touched BF2 Dice. BF1 Dice, even though it was bare bones, was incredible for me. But Bf 2 Dice was soulless in my opinion

The game was rushed out for launch sure, but it had more passion poured into it over the next 3 years than most Star Wars games. There’s a reason so many devs left dice after BFll ended.
