I actually like this documentary. The Beach Boys were my first band from the 60s I listened to before The Beatles and The Rolling Stones. I even watched it twice and my first song from them was "Help me Rhonda".

Check out Endless Harmony from 1998. It is a much better documentary that didn't ignore everything after Good Vibrations. In fact, it went further in the future than this one did! It even touched on Brian's Imaginations album. It is what got me into their later stuff.
