Great Purchase! I read that only a very small number of covers of that box set actually light up and were personally signed by Brian Wilson. I love the Beach boys! If you have not listened to them yet I would highly recommend checking out their albums during the 1970-1973 period like Sunflower and Surf's up.

Ah, thank you for the information! I’ve only listened to a select few tracks from the Sunflower/Surf’s Up era, but I really love what I’ve heard so far, in fact, I would go as far as to say that Disney Girls is my current favourite Beach Boys song! Thanks for the comment! :)

What a beautiful object in its own right. Looks pristine. Your excitement is great. Good on the previous owner for keeping it in such great condition. Don't know what you paid for but it was a bargain. Brilliant and epic!

Unfortunately the original track listing has never been known and all we have is the 2004 version of a tracklist. I don’t even think Brian knew how it was gonna fit together. But if it had released the way the 2004 one had it probably would’ve surpassed Sgt peppers both critically and artistically.

I agree! The 2004 version is definitely in my top 3 favourite albums of all time, if not top 2!

I bought this off of eBay as it’s been out of print for many years, I’m so glad to have it! It truly is amazing, and probably already the greatest box set I own! ‘That’s Why God Made The Radio’ another great album by the Beach Boys! (I don’t know whether you’re aware, was it a coincidence or did you know?! 🤣) Thanks for the comment! :)

This set is one my favorite things ever, it’s definitely one of the center pieces in my collection, it looks great sitting next to all the Beatles box sets.! Lol. The music is so beautiful too, Brian was on to something for sure, it is amazing to think that this never came out back then, one could only imagine. How have you been enjoying it so far.?
