I think my favorite part of this episode, is realizing that Richie knew Nat was pregnant. He asked her if she "wanted a sprite because she looked green" and in Fishes he got his gf a price because she was sick while she was pregnant.

This show is so well written with things you might not pick up on at first or don’t completely pay off until later for example Richie asking Sugar if she wants a sprite which in this episode is meaningless but makes way more sense post ‘fishes’ and then Carmen gives his phone number to the fridge guy and then when he gives his number to Claire he gives a different number there are other examples obviously which are also all great, the chocolate banana probably being my favorite callback, but this shows writing is just so tight

It's not talked about enough how Carmie feels about his job and the restaurant. He doesn't find it fun or doesn't know what makes him happy. On top of that he might be depressed and he has some serious self-worth issues. I hope they dive deeper into that in s3. It just feels like he's addicted to this lifestyle and thinks it's the only thing he's good at he can't do anything else. ofc he's passionate and cares for what he and Michael dreamed together but there's a lot of sadness to his character even without his brother's passing that didn't get much screen time till the end of the season. (wont say any more for spoilers sake)

Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Matty Mattheson (Richie and Fak) smooched at an award show and I am convinced that scene with the mold is why. You don't get two actors up in each other's face that much with a scene that definitely took multiple takes to get without them smooching at some point.

Theres a lot of real talk in this wrap up. I moved back to my hometown after 12 years last summer. Everyone wants to talk to me and i just want to be left alone. Im glad im not the only one. Also, I have friends named Danielle and Daniel. They had D&D wedding invitations. They both play D&D so it was kind of cool.

I love this show. But, the more I watch the more I’m convinced the actress playing Sydney is the weakest actor on the show. Before someone comes at me with “she won awards so clearly she’s good” just stop because everyone knows awards are just for show and ultimately meaningless. I’m not saying she’s terrible. She’s just the weakest part of it. The character is fine, but her delivery doesn’t match up to what everyone else is doing.

It does feel that way at times but as the show progresses she does find her range. She's growing into the role. PS, Claire reminds me of Pam from the Office
