honestly, there's nothing else to really say whilst watching the chaos that is this episode. this ep did such a wonderful job at really showing a dysfunctional family in action. perhaps to the extreme, although, I'm sure many people could relate to all different parts of this episode. I think it was so important for us to see this to really understand carmy or at least begin to, in a way that we haven't gotten to and even Michael and sugar as well, even Richie. we got to see so many different sides to the characters that we love which helped put some pieces together. donna stressed me out like no other and seeing uncle jimmy help Richie like that makes me wonder what exactly went wrong.... 🩶

Yep, this is all the same dynamics as the abusive generational alcoholic family I grew up in. So much happening in this episode. Incredible acting.

My little brother watched the second season before I did, and he said that when I reached this episode, he wanted to watch with me. He didn't say what it was about. I just knew why he wanted to watch together.

A magnificent episode that causes so much heartache. Favourite scene: the Faks just goofing and dancing. Lord knows I needed that relief.

The craziness and chaotic atmosphere inside the house was everything ! 😂 this episode was so tense and intense at the same time ,like a mixture of sad and funny moments . And of course the : “ May God bless us and keep us safe in the New Year. And please give Michael the strength not to throw that fork. Amen.” Was so funny 😂

Donna is running a loop of trauma every year, that we don't know the deatails yet of how Donna was programmed this way. Her parents must of been very dysfunctional. Then the long time line loop of generational trauma and mental illness. Plus the alcoholism. Lather, rinse, repeat.
