Yeah, all the wrong lessons from success of S2. I like the Faks, but too much of them. I found Ice chips a complete bore and BS. There's no way Sugar couldn't get Richie or someone. I loved Forks and love Richie, but too much of that in the finale w/the funeral for restaurant. I liked the Carmen/Richie cold war/anger, but I was really surprised it lasted whole season. I thought something would happen to make them at least talk to each other in the finale but not. Problem is this was planned as 3 season arc and they have a S4. I don't mind them treading water a bit if episodes were tight and good, but they weren't. a lot of good moments and weirdly I thought episode 1-3 were the strongest while last year they were more a lead up. That's not really a good thing. IF your best episode is episode 3, you've got a problem. We;ll see.

@@jennifercorozza7002 I think I would have liked it if it just went a bit further. Like Sidney finally makes up her mind to leave The Bear, but just as she's about to tell Carmie, he reads the review and has a revelation that he's become the boss he always hated and has even been trying to cook like him. He realizes that his employees are miserable and it's his fault, and the restaurant he's running is not one his late brother would have liked. So he apologizes to his staff, talks about cutting out the stupid "new menu every day" thing, and makes one of Sydney's dishes a permanent feature on the menu. He even calls Claire to apologize because to hell with giving up his life for the restaurant. To hell with the Michelin star. It's what Sydney's been wanting to hear for so long, but now it's too late, and she's tired of Carmie being exactly what the review called him: inconsistent. She signed a contract, but it's for the other guy's restaurant. Would've also been nice to see Richie ask the lady from the other restaurant to be his plus one at his ex-wife's wedding, and he finally RSVPs. He's ready to not be alone. I actually liked the structure of the season--showing why each of the characters so badly need The Bear to work. They just needed to show that rug being pulled out from under all of them in one fell swoop. They get the mixed review, the uncle pulls funding, Syd quits, and Carmie sees that he gave up his life--and his relationship with Claire--for nothing. It's back to square one.

Absolutely agree with ‘Ice Chips’ episode - I don’t watch this show to see almost an entire episode devoted to Sugar in labour and Jamie Lee Curtis overacting. Yuck

@@FarmerJAB Honestly, I can scanned through the episode to see and when I realized the whole episode was them? Not good. it's not the actors, it's I don't want to spend my whole time here. It's boring. And the lead in to it from episode was such crap. let's have the 9 month pregnant woman head to home depot to carry shit? And after Richie and Sug talked about how easy it was for him and Tiff, you saw this BS coming.
