John was a fan of good Anerican music. How could he go wrong by throwing in a line or 2 from the great Smokey . He also nicked I'm Crying" in I am the Walrus from Smokey. Tells me John listened to quality music.

I guess this further proves my point that Paul was the original talent in the Beatles. John stole so much of what we thought was original.

Marty Howe Stole? You know how many identical lines like this I can find in songs? "What have you done". That's probably on more than a thousand songs. It's not close to a rip off.
