Thanks for your posts Tudor, enjoyed them all. I live on the Peabody Estate on Herbrand Street which is where The Celtic Hotel sign is behind you when you’re at The President Hotel. I also went to school very close to St. Pancras Church on your first walk, and spent many lunchtimes in that park . It wasn’t till years later that I discovered their importance in Beatle history, even though I was a fan from childhood. I now have an almost 10 year old who has gone Beatle bananas and I’m spending some very happy days with him visiting these sites. Thanks for your time my friend.

As a 73 year old I'm enjoying the walk about and Beatle trivia. I've been a fan since before the 1st Ed Sullivan Show appearance on February 9, 1964 because a neighbor of mine had a London friend and sent her their first UK album release, Please Please Me soon after it was released in March of 1963. Great memories! I also love Sherlock Holmes, so double the pleasure for me that you're walking around London. Thanks!

I love that Ministry Of Justice building Tudor, fabulous (not seen that before) I love 'brutalist' architecture from the 1960's/70's. And you had the pleasure of working there too. Wonderful. One of my favourite places in that London is the Barbican Center...it reeks of the 1970's. If I'am in the Capital, I always try and go there.

Hi Tudor. I've been enjoying these London Walkabouts. As a former courier (I retired about five years ago) I searched out many locations during my time on the road, and was the helped along the way by the Piet Schreuders/Mark Lewisohn/Adam Smith book, "The Beatles, London". If you haven't got it, you should get it straight away. It'll make your job a lot easier! Here's a thing or two from that very book: George and Ringo moved into flat 7 Whaddon House in early 1964. Ringo and George also occupied flats 5 and 6 for a short time. Brian had flat 15. You missed a trick or two on the King's Road (albeit not Beatles ones); On the corner of Royal Avenue and the Kings Road, now a McDonalds, was the Chelsea Drug Store (namechecked in the Stones' "You Can't Always Get What You Want", and featured in "A Clockwork Orange". Also, far more pendantic people than me have tracked down James Bond's address, in the original books (mostly described in Moonraker apparently) as either Wellington Square, or even more likely, Carlyle Square, both just off the King's Road. It's very hard to shake off the location searching bug once it grips you! And finally! Don't want to be seen as knitpicking, but Epstein was pronounced "epsteen" by the family, but brian preferred "epstine". And Cadogan is pronounced "cad-ugg-ann, Sorry, don't mean to be harsh!. Looking forward to more...

We owe you a debt of gratitude for your tremendous effort to connect-the-dots on many, many Beatle-related things. When we left Liverpool/London and the rest of our European holiday, I, in particular, felt down because of decades of waiting and was not completely prepared for the experience. Some of the tours were just bare-bones attempts. My interest is now re-invigorated to continue reading the many books stacked-up in my room. We are now watching GET BACK and plan-on going back to see all the others. Also, a second trip to Europe is now in the works, thanks to you. P.S. - we were just gifted 2 Ringo tickets in Hollywood, Florida, next month...Wow!

George, I’m so glad you’ve found my videos inspiring. It’s not good news to hear you were disappointed by some of the tours. To be honest I’ve never taken any myself mostly because whenever I’ve walked by them I don’t hear anything I don’t already know. Same old same old in my opinions. While I do cover a lot of the info those tours do, I like digging about for information that surprises me and isn’t that well known. Amazing that you’ve got tickets for the All Stars. You’ll see Colin Hay and Hamish Stuart, exciting times 👍

@@TudorSmith Again, thanks. We visited St Pancras station to see if Brendan Kavanaugh (Dr K or Dr Boogie-Woogie of youtube fame) was at the "black Elton John piano" in front of the White Co store. No one was there, but our photo memories made it worthwhile. As you mentioned, doing research and most importantly these videos are necessary to get full satisfaction of the experience. Also, we took the Eurostar to Paris and back, and various trains, the tube, the route 15 bus to Limehouse, and others. "Mind the Gap" Looking forward to the future videos and visits!

The BBC America Channel would show on Friday evening, The Avengers at 8:00, The Saint at 9:00 and The Persuaders at 10:00. The only night I would watch TV and it made for a fabulous night. PS, the chemistry between Roger Moore and Tony Curtis was what made the Persuaders such a great show. They seemed to be enjoying the hell out of themselves.

Ah the Persuaders. I loved how Brett referred to Wilde as “Daniel” and not Danny. And Wilde would call Sinclair “Your Dukeship”. I’ve often wondered if it was off script camaraderie between Moore and Curtis?

Great research Tudor. You are truly the king of superimpositions! I was pleased you included the Hotel President as I have that iconic poster on my wall and when I was a student in London I lived around the corner in Brunswick Square. It always strikes me that John appears to be looking over the road at the somewhat posher Russell Hotel - and presumably thinking why aren't we staying there rather than the Hotel President.

Hey Tudor great video as usual John's Sgt Pepper medals (that he borrowed) are on show at the new Beatles museam in Matthew Street i havent been yet but it's on.my to do list think it's run by one of Mona Bests boys, also I know you been there as I have Strawberry fields (it was amazing) whilst I was there I bought a signed copy of Imagine this by Julia Baird John half sister it's a great book only a small book I read it from cover to cover it gives a 1st hand insight in John's childhood, turns out Mimi was horrible at the start reporting Julia to Social services and not allowing her to see John when she walked over to visit him she would return home to Julia (her daughter) in tears saying "mimi wouldn't let me see john" she mellowed out in time and allowed them to meet, keep upnthe good work ✌👍

Fantastic video Tudor. You have a great delivery. While you were in Old Compton Street, you could have looked just across the road at number 76 which was once the upstairs premises of Norman's film productions. It was here in late 1967 that the Beatles came to edit the Magical Mystery Tour film. I was working in Old Compton Street at the time at number 30 (then a music publisher, now the G-A-Y nightclub) and saw them coming in and out of Norman's several times individually and one unbelievable time, spotted all four together stepping out for lunch, walking towards Charing Cross Road
