I was one of those dudes who learned those 50-60's "cowboy chords". Thanx for cluing me into the "jangly" Beatle versions. It's things like that that keeps me coming back to you, Mike. You're the greatest.

You made the vocals turn this new into a new experience, the nuances didnt pass me by. Skillfully crafted.

I actually always loved this song. My father traveled a lot and brought home (to the U.S.) some early Beatles recordings in 1963. Loved them then, love them now. Sad, that Era is passing....

Mike, this lesson of Love Me Do is really helping me improve that swing rhythm, and now I seem to be getting the hang of it.
Hello Mike you are amazing, I was 15 years old in 1962 and when i heard this I thought who is this , and I was hooked immediately .I am now 75 and play my guitar and harp rack in my bedroom to beatles songs , and I am still enthralled by everything about them. Someone said the Beatles were a cosmic happening and George said their spirit flew into Monty Python. Thank you Mike for keeping the Beatle flame burning bright .Bill from Lancashire England.

Just found you and, well, that's an amazing lesson. Intelligent, informative, easy-to-follow, and then a performance at the end for us to play along with. Brilliant work that you made look like fun.

Mike, you are a keen observer. Your explanations of the nuances of the Beatles' playing are so insightful. The French thinker, Ernest Renan, said, "Truth is in the nuances." So is the music. Thanks again for an excellent lesson, Mike. BTW, I shared the link to this video with my young grandson. He really liked it, too.

When I first heard "Love me do" The Beatles/I could hear a similarity to The Everly Bros. .Cathy's Clown. to me very similar, Except the Everly's were really up on higher vocal range effortlessly, "I feel that the Beatles were also inspired by the Everyly's. that's my opinion. I was born in that era a Baby Boomer, From the Doo Wop days. All the way to the Beatles and beyond.
