My older sister had this record album in 1967 ! She is almost 7 years older than me ! She died May 12th 2022 age 72 and she would be going on 76 or 75 now and I am 67 years old now . She died mouth cancer 2 years ago .

David Crosby brought a copy of the album to L.A. In April 67 and had some friends listen,Grateful Dead,Jefferson Airplane,Beach Boys and Mamas and Papas.However it was in Montreal that the North American public got to hear it first.On June 1 st 1967 an Air Canada stewardess bought a copy in London.At 4.00 o clock the same afternoon it was playing over the P A system at Man And His World at Montreal s Worlds Fair. Just a little trivia. Great mix.

In 1987 we used to play Sgt Peppers in our hall of residence bar, with a dollop of Revolution to keep the Sloanes out of our pub. Wasn't my idea but it fecking well worked!!!

dont usually comment ...the beatles were the best group in the history of pop music and george martins production was head and shoulders above any other producers of that era-this 2 song remix is outstanding, listening to this with headphones is a sonic treat i always thought the pepper album had some of the best drum sounds and the way youve enabled them to fill up more space and be more prominent in the mix-everything about this mix reaffirms my belief in the creative genius of the beatles and mr martin....the fullness clarity and balance of this mix sounds as good as it gets without overdoing anything-thank you

So you DID throw us a curveball and did another Beatles track, after saying you were going to take a break from Beatles songs and do Stones tracks???!!! GOOD GOING!!! It’s surprises like this that just add to the fact that IMHO you’re the best remix channel out there!!! Don’t anyone get me wrong: there are others who also do a good job, and I listen to them, too. But your mixes are always a cut above the rest, IMHO, and I always look forward to them!!! So keep up the good work, Pat-the world is listening!!!

sounds great man! thank you for the new Beatles experience. the only thing i would change is the picked bass, I think it should be in the middle and the deep mixed bass on the sides. apart from that, everything is cool. loved the drums!

🎧👍👍 Hi, Pat: Another good mix. I was going to try and be funny and say all was good except that Ringo was a little out of tune...but he wasn't, not to my ears anyway. This is a classic. I also love the catchy beat of the reprise. Thank you.

I'm really enjoying our relationship as 'friendly acquaintances' and I hope it stays that way. No bad breeding techniques happening on this side of the pond. 😊 I just viewed a video of Karen Young singing One Tin Soldier and I just assumed at first that she was 'our' Karen Young but upon investigating, it turns out that she is British.
