I used to live near Ndola, lived out at chiwala near the bwana makuba Mine. Used to go to the golf club, wanderers club and the cricket club. Had friends in kansenji, beautiful city, i miss it.

Thanks for the video. I grew up in Ndola in the late 60s until 1976. It is one of my best memories. I hope to visit again before I get too old.

@kingslj
This is my city & it used to be a very well maintained city with no street vendors. The President avenue island used to have beautiful flowers like you see around Buteko avenue where the Bank of Zambia building is. Good though that it is generally clean.

Ndola looks more organized than Lusaka

If you can't raise the standards of how a city should look like, then we can not go anywhere, let's not be content with that standard its dangerous to development, we can do better if we improve our structures, Let the city authorities to come up with certain designs to give the owners to rebuild their structures, then we can see something to appreciate.This is like a village city so to speak. No one is going to change our towns if we can not take it by ourselves, the owners of the shops are just there to make money and not to bother themselves where they are trading from.
