You are correct! It's almost completely overlooked. It's capable of gorgeous photos, and videos, it feels good to use, and they're all over the place at great prices. Absolute UNIT.

Yes indeed so underrated. Love love mine and have used it on many events. Overlooked even with the most recent updated. They updated the X-T3 but not the X-H1? Still it is more than capable of doing so much....the only limit with any camera is creativity. I am hoping I might be able to get a 2nd one instead of looking to get the X-H2 or H2S

@@derekchuan I know of filmmakers who keep the IBIS turned off, and for what it's worth, one of the drawbacks of the XH1, is this "catch up" frame, that I can't confirm is the IBIS, but I think may be. To answer your question - no. "Stable," or "smooth" footage is a skill in itself. I think you can check out @Gxace for examples of absolutely amazing XT3 footage.

@@nigelianzamora Thanks for your advice! Looks like I have more research to do. I only have the 23mm f2 and 25mm f1.4 lenses so I thought IBIS was a must but the XT3 has overall better video specifications. Do you personally use IBIS?

Praise God! Thanks for watching! The battery is pretty abysmal. I have 6 batteries I think, and I'm always like, "it's not gonna be enough." However! I didn't even know that other cameras had an exposure comp dial! What!?

@@nigelianzamora X-E, X-T and X-Pro line have exposure comp dial as in fact does Sony a7iii a7iv etc

A person can keep pushing their skills with whatever they have access to at the time, and it can also be easy to believe that if you just had "better" gear it would make the difference. It's not a perfect analogy, but that's similar to thinking that if you just had a better guitar, you could play like Hendrix, or whoever. Gear matters, but no matter the gear, we still have to work at it. Thanks again!

Thank you! Audio is by far my biggest weakness. This was recorded with an EV RE20, that I picked up to do voice over work years ago. It's a great mic, but It's less than ideal for video like this, because it has a very large pattern, and picks up lots of ambient sound. However, it's all I've got for video at the moment. In Davinci Resolve Pro (which I haven't got) there is great noise removal software, Izotope RX (which I haven't got) also has great noise removal, THIS however, was done with Adobe's beta podcast ai. Let me know if you'd be interested in breakdown.

@@PhotogenicProperties I would like to test out a Sony. The XH1 is the only mirrorless I've ever had, so I can't make comparisons based on experience, but I agree, it's a pleasure to shoot with, and even with it's "limitations" you can get beautiful video and photos with it.
